Sounds good, I have been with Autoaid for a few years, very pleased with them, but it is always the hassle of paying up front first, and this price is very good, my renewal is due in two weeks time, so might consider this.
Has anyone on here used them?

I'm also interested, but has anyone else had experience with them? Recommended? Thanks

Some reviews I have found, but as someone said, you only post comments when you have a problem, so to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Good price, but as always, depends if you get cash back from quidco, ones who have gone for the BT mobile deal in the last recent days have had their cash back refused, so not guaranteed, with this deal for £3 more, it is guaranteed.

I get a bit nervous when i read about the take to a local garage for fix or take you home part.
I cant find the wording now.But i think it says will take you and car home after a reasonable amount of time if the car cannot be fixed. How long is that ?.
I used Kwikfit breakdown for the last 2 years as they say take home if cant be fixed on the same day.Good price depends on year of car..Grreat service when i called then out.
Called them out to a flat battery november last year and a local garage turned up in 30 mins not to shabby.
I told the mechanic i had a new battery an he said no probs and fitted it which i thought was nice of him.£5.00 as a thank you went down well.

Our Full UK cover provides the following:

No call out charge, and unlike other providers, there is nothing to pay at the roadside to claim on reimbursement. The price you are quoted is the price you will pay for the year
Up to 1 hour of roadside assistance
Homestart if your vehicle fails to start at the home address
Recovery to a garage, your home address or destination, if a roadside repair is not possible
Overnight accommodation, hire car or onward transportation, if your vehicle cannot be repaired at a garage within a reasonable amount of time
Free accident management cover

I just paid £80 (minus £40 cashback) for AA with recovery to home or destination.
No hire car but I've never taken one when I had that cover.
So, £40 after cashback for a years cover.
There was more cashback available for the higher cover policies but I opted for this one.

Unhappy customer cited horror story in post #24 of previous deal http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/2gether-breakdown-cover-19-one-year-full-breakdown-cover-groupon-2469250?p=28280924 . Would need to balance against happy customers.

I am with these and had to use them a few weeks ago. It took a good 10 minutes of holding to get through to someone but then they took my details and had Egerton's recovery out within about half an hour (they asked if I had kids with me or was in a dangerous location, neither of which applied to me). Breakdown guy fixed it, I signed something, and that was that. They seem OK for the price.
