I really wish it was compulsary to have the price in the title, which is viewable on the main page & mobile site.

The real question, is this worth the £79.99-£89.99 once you factor in the Now-TV?

What's the point of posting a deal without the price?

Very true, I thought it sounded cheap enough to maybe risk despite this, then read the reviews, if the DVD player is going to be a constant fault then it is essentially a 22" TV with the Now TV pack, but you also have to wonder how long before something else on the TV breaks.

I was only going to include the bottom comment but added the other as it was a similar complaint.
The bottom comment even had the staff member informing of the same common fault

I had switched the colour to black at the time of my earlier post ... Didn't make any difference for me .... Still no stock in the nearest 10 stores ... so maybe some somewhere, but non anywhere local to me in the North Surrey area.

Just hit the expire button as not a deal without a price.

Why would you do that when the price is CLEARLY in the title..

Probably wasn't showing the price on the mobile app. All is fine now don't worry.

You reply saying it wasn't brand snobbery...with another obvious brand snobbery comment.
As for finding a decent Alba device, there are a few with 4+ out of five average review on Argos itself (including this TV/DVD combo), but for more -

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=sr_nr_p_89_0?rh=n%3A560798%2Ck%3Aalba%2Cp_72%3A419153031%2Cp_89%3AAlba&sort=review-rank&keywords=alba&ie=UTF8&qid=1404014268&rnid=1632651031

Not saying I'd buy anything made by them myself (not due to quality reasons, but purely spec and design), but I wouldn't blindly call everything made by them crap either, I'll leave that to the idiotic brand snobs...like yourself.

He's an idiotic brand snob, and looking at his deals one that has spent his entire life sitting on his backside playing computer/console games.
I think we should find him a nice treadmill deal. Not one of those cheap crappy ones by a brand that brand snobs dismiss just because of the name stuck on it though, it would have to be something good, a well known expensive brand, otherwise he might not like it.

Of course I would. we have had tesco asda Sony lg TVs. The asda one I got for 120 a 26 inch I think still going very strong and still as new after six years. We still have an alba TV video in our camper van and not a problem.
So yes is the answer if the spec is what I am looking for I would have no problem buying an alba.

Haha, got to love the keyboard warriors, so tough behind their monitors ,we really should meet in person, I'm not at all what you have described

Would I buy alba? Nope, not due to to 'brand snobbery' I have no problem with 'brands' IMHO alba ARE rubbish, no other reason, not OOOOooo Alba are only bought by people of low incomes or on the dole

Lets look @ what I have Skoda superb car,Seat ibiza car, 2 panasonic plasma Tv, Sharp Tv, Hannspre TV, iiyama + Acer monitors, sony xperia T phone, nexus 7, Technika DAB radio, Logitch Squeezebox, PS3, PS Vita, 3DS, Wii U, Onkyo HT-R538 amp, surround speakers

2 children from the same mother

I dont have any apple products either, wouldnt buy one either EVER is that brand snobbery??

EDIT: How could I forget, Toshiba, another electrical make I avoid, I have never had a decent long lasting electrical item from them, they are also on my avoid list

Edited By: skykid3 on Jun 29, 2014 13:18: added toshiba
