direct link doesnt seem to work - go via quidco and it takes you there:

http://www.affordablemobiles.co.uk/fully-loaded-prepay-mobile-phone/

If you dont want the phone CEX will give you £11 for it too.

Watch about selling the phone too early - small print says the IMEI on the phone links to generate the £10 credit - so may be a false economy to sell the phone too early.

Thanks - worth knowing

odd deal...hot!

I'm assuming the £10 free credit has to be used within the month?

Doesnt say - guess it depends on Orange? Assume credit is carried forward but not sure...

Also break it or lose it and that's your £60 or what ever is left - gone!

screen is too tiny!!

Have I understood this correctly.

You pay £50

and they send you a pay as you go phone.

Then every month over a period of six months you get £10 free credit to use on calls and texts.

So you get a free phone to keep and free use (up to £10) for six months.

Is there a catch somewhere?
#16
The catch seems to me to be that you have to pay £49.99 for the 'free' phone. No matter how I read it, it doesnt make sense. Possibly a good deal regardless..
#17
This is basically a disguised 6month £10 a month contract up front.

Your basically paying for the credit. But seriously, it's a crap phone. Feels and looks like you've won it from a 2p machine in a arcade. My mate has had 3 of these already, 2 have broken.

Thanks for the warning - however, as the recyclers quote payment of a whole £2 for this one, it probably won't affect too many folk!
