don't order more than 10 packs or the bomb squad will be knocking at your doors, with the Oylmpics they are super cautious

Good buy. Hot! Fortunately my local hardware store sells them for 30p a box so my seven year old picks a few boxes up every now and then.

OK - maybe I'm being totally stupid here.. but how on earth can they sell those for 38p delivered and make a profit?

They won't pay royal mail half of what the general public do. I've always wanted to know how eBay sellers from china can manage to post items I've bought for 1p.

Anyone know what the bomb bags are like ? Never heard of em ?

This was posted the other night... but now strangely its gone from my history. Did post in that one the best value was for 20 packs for £2.69 delivered or something like that.

Like i say, odd that the post from 2 nights ago has now vanished ??

It's like a water/baking soda explosion thing. They're crap.

I've a theory that ebay sellers from china make a small loss for a couple years in order to build up feedback before they start ripping people off for vast amounts.

oh god now i see what they are - people who use these are peckers, stop making such a noise with these, leave me in peace lol.

I remember seeing these but had no idea what they were. Still haven't a clue. There seems to be quite a few nostalgia items coming up on HUKD

Sorry, Doc Brown. No time travel this time. I listed them and they were getting very hot very quickly before a Mod removed as the seller did not have 95% rating in Marketplace. :(

53p now

when i was a kid i used to buy a few boxes, open them all into a bit of tissue paper (took a while!) so it made one huge one!
it was like a mini grenade, quite loud bang!

These are technically classified as a Category 1 firework and as such it's illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to have them (same as party poppers and christmas crackers would you believe it?) Not trying to be a party pooper but that is the letter of the law (I don't think caps are classified in this way) but Fun Snaps certainly are and none of them seem to have the right wording on the packaging either.

Someone somewhere at some point is going to get done over big time for these before long. The whole reason that bangers etc were banned is that they were "pocket money" fireworks. I'm not trying to have a downer on it as I used to throw these around like no tomorrow. In fact we discovered they fit perfectly down the tube of a pea shooter - Oh the fun.

But be careful in case the plod ever show an interest

Hmm my cats get bullied by a fat stray cat sometimes so peashooter + snaps = me and my cats finally win the war of the garden!

thanks for this. Was speaking to my partner about these other day and I couldn't remember name of them. Just bought 20 of them for less then £3. Brilliant compared to someone on Ebay who was selling 2 boxes for £1 plus £3 postage (in which 10 people had bought during its first 3 days of listing)

Never going to happen. I once threw one of these directly into my brothers face, it was hilarious (for me) and he was totally unharmed, although being my older brother, i was not. The law is, in places just plain wrong and never enforced -Someone make a reference about the legality of killing a jock within the city walls of york quickly....
