957 now. Someone bought one in the last few minutes! (No, not me. I've hundreds of videos and no player but I'm still not tempted!)

Hey, VCR's NEVER go out of synch! Good price for a two head. I have used my VCR for the last 12 years without ever missing a TV show. I have used several modern HD recorder and I have missed many. OK, quality is not so good but better a recording in VHS than none at all. I happily stick with VHS til they die. Voted hot.

What's a VCR grandad? Hot, I suppose.
#11
This is not new is it? Bit risky to play old family videos on this - if its anything like the PVRs they were selling...
#12
We have got a Funi and they are good! still gets used a lot to record as i dont want to buy a dvd recorder or PVR
#13
Free delivery was on £30 or over but is expired anyway. You can get these on the high street for less if you include delivery. Good price for the item, poor with delivery.

Where are all the BR fans? they usually pop-up in threads like say with useful comments like "dead format" "only useful as a doorstop" etc

Still have my vcr and until it goes boom there doesn't seem much point in switching to a pvr........

Hot deal...

Hey Mr BigPockets - where are you...???

...my Papa (who's a technophobe) wants one of these to replace his old Ferguson VCR that finally went kapput (after about 10years!)...

...looking into ordering the more expensive model though: REFURB030 - "Funai 31B750 Nicam VCR" which has 6 heads and an LCD screen, HOWEVER, anyone (or if Mr. BigPockets is listening to this...) know what GRADE A & Refurbished actually means - heard some horror stories before (i.e. plain box; reams of bubble wrap; dirt, dents & all scratched on the product, missing remote; manual scribbled on etc etc)...anyone who has ordered one (or any other refurb/Grade A product from BigPockets) can they please let me have some feedback?

...if it's a gamble as to what I'd end up with...then might just pay double for one in Argos which I can guarantee will be pristine.

Thanks for your feedback in advance (and thanks to the OP!!!)

===================

...I've been assured that this stock is "as new" condition but just open box stock - so grab yourselves a bargain all-you-people-with-a-massive-video-colleaction [and if not happy you can always return for a refund].

Please excuse my stupidity...I'm new here and this site is fantastic....but I just went to the site, filled out the form and it came to £18.00 (and some change) for the total.

Am I missing something?

Many thanks.
