nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo !!!!

You can copy some tapes with these type of recorders, not all are macrovision protected.

Just to metion, we have quite a lot of these at work and they aren't the most reliable things. we've had them about a year and a few of them have gone kaput already.

This one cant be cracked so it cant be made multi-region.

Why didn't you return it for a full refund/replacement?:?

This is a fine deal if you`re after a DVD recorder, but don`t want to throw away those old VHS tapes just yet. Great being an all-in-one, but Funai have a terrible reputation with the VHS mechanisms they use. The DVD recorder part will be fine, just expect your cassettes to be chewed up real soon! We sold a batch of over 100 of similar Funai units, and a good half of them got thrown back at us with tapes stuck inside. Buy with caution.

Ah, the joys of copy-n-paste...it's only new if you live in 2005;-)

My brother-in-law has had this for 18 months and not had a bit of bother.

I have the Funai 3-in-1 VHS/DVD/HDD model and am suitably impressed with machine quality

Pity you can't copy protected DVD's and video's....takes the fun out of owning a machine like this

Good price for a good product.

That's interesting you say you can't copy protected DVDs and videos because I can with my Funai DVD recorder DR-B2737!

I bought one, free delivery, one day.
Not worried about reliability as it will go straight back if faulty.
