As I mentioned in another thread, I would personally go for the [post=106870]Humax PVR9200T[/post] for a little bit more money. Much better device.

I have a Fusion FVRT100 and it is one of my favourite consumer devices. Very easy to use and it can change the way you watch TV. Having said that, FVTRs are known to have a number of weaknesses. They are not the most reliable machines. Common problems are failed power supplies and overheating shortening the life of the harddrive.

ebuyer are selling "grade A" stock which I understand to be returned units for £99.99

I bought this a few months ago now from LX and with codes and quidco it cost about £128 or thereabouts.

Its an ok machine (when working). Main gripe being the blue on blue menus and you dare not use the compression or you could lose the whole library.

However like a very high percentage of people my one only lasted a couple of months, packed in and lost everything and was not coming back to life exactly.

I sent it back and they couldnt repair it or replace so just refunded me to the tune of £145 for some reason, that was the price with one of the vouchers applied.

I went and bought the Topfield 5800, which I would recommend before anything Digifusion.

The 160gb model can be had for about £190 if you buy open box stock which is fine and about £220 for the 250gb model.

Personally I went for the brand new 250gb model which was bit more with it being brand new, £279 to be precise, that did inlcude a 2yr warranty right enough.

I'd avoid DigiFusion PVR's like the plauge. I've had two in the last couple of months which have both packed up due to hardware failure. Get a Humax or Topfiled instead and don't waste your money on one of these.

Just a reminder that Ebuyer have some 'grade A' stock of these at cheap prices. 200 model is £99.99 and the 100 model is £79.99.

As gogboy said above though, it's Topfield for the win in my opinion. I've had a 5800 with 250gb hard drive since last xmas and absolutely love it. TV watching will never be the same again :)
