Thank you for making the effort to contribute to HUKD. You should include the delivery price in the quoted price though,, and it would also be a good idea to give some examples of typical prices elsewhere as well, to give people a better idea of how hot your deal is or isn't. Voted hot though - am sick of people who instantly vote stuff cold without offering any explanation - it really discourages people from making the effort to contribute.

So just because you dont like the trousers you vote cold !!!

sorry to tell you the idea of this site is to vote if its a good deal ,if the jeans are normally 100 but down to 50 then thats a hot deal even if you hate the clothes on offer or not
#11
I have thrown away better looking jeans than these, mine only cost around a fiver when new.

£50+ for a pair of jeans..

" mine only cost around a fiver when new."

I think we are on the same page buddy,,,

If people want to pay 50 quid for a pair of jeans so be it.

Other people might waste money on cigarettes, alcohol and/or drugs, each to their own.
#14
If you think that £50 for pair of jeans is steep, look around the USC website at G Star Jeans that are £100+!

What an idiotic comment.

Well i buy G-Star jeans and i pay £100+, All these remarks saying you got some for a fiver is ridiculous.
Look at it this way: a piece of glass or a diamond. They may look similar at a glance but they do show when you go up close.

Yes G-Star is brand name and you pay for it. If you've got the money then why not.

A pair of jeans, is a pair of jeans, I don't buy " labels ".. :whistling:

I bet these overpriced " labels " are made in the same East Asian factory that my £5 jeans are made in.

...and if they can be described as " fashion " well you can keep it, they look like something found in a skip.

You are right. They are. I'm talking quality in materials and design not the manufacture.

Reducing an overpriced pair of jeans to £49.99 does not mean it is a good deal. It means you are still being ripped of, but not quite as outrageously as if you had paid full price.

Quality of design and manufacture you say,,,the above photo looks like he's a tramp and slept in the jeans,,,at least the sub-fiver jeans fit,,,still at least he's not got his boxers showing,,,that's a blessing I guess,,,

You have to laugh at these threads... the £5 tesco/asda jean mobs home right in on these to cool them right down! Leave them alone if your not interested!!!!

I can afford to 'waste' money on trendy gear... hot for me... :)

Thanks for posting, great price for top brand jeans. Its super hot to me.

G -star dont use sweatshops. They have an ethical supply chain. See website

Bargains are relative. To each their own !

Personally I do not think a bargain is a pair of £5.00 jeans, made by a 9 year old child in dreadful conditions in Guatemala.

Just my two penneth worth.

Hides behind sofa to take cover.

I really dont get people who vote it cold purely on the basis that you can buy no-name budget jeans for a fiver. These are two totally different markets, so it is completely unfair to compare premium denim with budget denim - both have their place, but you cannot compare the two purely on cost.

That said, although I would have no issue paying £50-100 on a pair of good jeans, I've never understood the GStar thing - the stuff does not seem well designed compared to other premium brands (Evisu, Nudie et al) and the quality seems poor also.

However, I'm obviously missing something as they are obscenely popular! Not voted, as I think you can get much better jeans for the money, but this is absolutely clearly NOT a cold deal on the basis mentioned above - it is like voting a Porsche at £7k cold because you could get a Micra for less.

I like the styling on G Star and its a great price but they just don't fit me, but hey!! Heat added
