Gadget Giant Google Nexus 7 Asus Tablet (7" inch) 2012 - S Line Gel Grip Silicone Case Cover & LCD Screen Protector (Black) £2.94 @ amazon marketplace

KrosusKrosus

I posted this previously at £3.74 and it got over 200 degrees.

It's now down to £1.98 incl postage so thought it was worth a repost.

I bought this from the original deal and it's a good case. Tight fit and very resistant to scratching. I've had it's smaller brother on my S2 for a year now and no problems with it at all.

Now increased to £2.94. That's the law of supply and demand for you :-)

Great find, price applies only to black though,.

I bought this and found that although it fits well enough and does provide some protection, it interferes considerably with the wireless connectivity. So I have removed it. I found that it worked upstairs properly whilst near the router, but would lose signal downstairs. It also came with a screen protector, which I removed after a day once I found that it didn't have anything like the tactile feel of the original screen. Thus neither hot nor cold for me.

Are you sure you end up with NO air bubbles or 'bits' under the protector? (if so, please tell me your method ;))

Wipe the screen clean, air dust if needed then use a bit of sellotape to pull off any small dust bits and apply screen protector. Finally push out any air bubbles with finger or card. Worked for me on all phones and tablets that I've tried (as long as the screen protector is cut out properly but you could check this before applying)

Apparently if you apply it in a moist room (eg the bathroom after using the shower) then there is a lot less dust in the air to get caught under the protector.

It is actually £1.95 + £0.99 UK delivery. Mods please correct the price on the post.

The increased trade, possibly from HUKD, has made them put the price up. I'll edit the original post.

i managed to purchase it at 99p last night

as for no bubbles, i did this method, which is how they do it in hong kong (with sellotape)
remove underside one inch, then hold top against screen pushing out any bubble with your underside of finger, slowly roll the plastic off the screen and continue pushing the bubbles out from the middle outwards

i did this myself and proud to say i got no bubbles

    is this worth getting?

Not sure if I care about my nexus enough to even warrant £2 for a case
