Beneath the beauty and seclusion of the islands lies a legacy of geological miracles and this documentary attempts to life the lid on them. I went there for my honeymoon 4 years ago. It was very good. Swam with marine iguanas, turtles, loads of cool fish, seals and best of all some penguins!
amazing experience
I wish this would come out on blu-ray.

I went over 10 years ago and you needed a guide then. You only need the guide on land. In the sea you are on your own! Great stuff!!

I go swimming with whales most weekends luckily the wife and mum in law usually get out of the pool before I do.As for feeding whales I usually find a KFC bargain bucket to be the favourite food of the afore mentioned mammals

Went there a few years ago, loved swimming with sealions, always remember an Austrian lady in our group who fled in terror from the sea as we witnesses a shoal of about 30 hammerhead sharks below us on the ocean floor, ha ha. She also complained that there were not enough tortoises on the Islands for her liking!!, truly an unnapreciative ****.
Heat added as I'm going to get this one.

Hi
Anyone wanting a cheap HD DVD player for the Xbox can get one from GameStation. I got one for £24.99 which included 2 HD DVDs. It was only £19.99 by itself.

hi

how long is this? taaa

Had just received this on loan from Tesco DVD rental and watched first programme yesterday and it is STUNNING HD showing nature at its very best and most interesting and with an intelligent narration (well unless you think the earth is c4000 years old).

So I guess if you don't want Planet Earth as your 'resident HD set' to remind yourself/family/friends/visitors/passersby of just how good your TV set up is, then this is a fantastic substitute :-D

As regards how long it is - I deliberately turned off my Toshiba EP-30 display so wouldnt know how far it had got :)
However this review http://hddvd.highdefdigest.com/932/galapagos.html says 150 minutes so 3 x programmes of 50mins.

.

LOL i know what you mean -- i was watching a doc the other day about crazy christians who believe in god and they said the eath is onyl 4000 years old and if you dont believe that you dont beleive in god

Well considering dinosaurs predate 200+ millions years i think its obv what the truth is

I do want this hd dvd but the only thing i dontlike is the boxart -Compare to the usa release

Damn this Forum and damn internet access. So far today I've ordered some garden things, The Matrix Trilogy, 300 and now this title all thanks to deals posted on here and the day is not yet over.

And I'm supposed to be trying to cut back on spending in these "financially turbulent" times ....
