  I agree to some extent but that said i had my galaxy s for a couple of years in a 99p case and screen protector. dropped it a fair but and it was fine....until i dropped it without a cover on last week......woops!

  Can I just ask, what is the need for a stylus? I just got my new S III and noticed these stylus' kicking around but can't think of a reason why I'd ever need one other than for drawing something in Draw Something?

  beware of cheap plastic cases... they will cause more marks in cell phone edges and scratch by dust trapped between case and cell phone. best to use silicone ones in my experience if budget is question

  Might be useful for carrying round store/membership cards or something. You know, those ones that just seem to clog up your wallet.

  These are the best covers you can buy. I took a punt on one a few months ago for my iPhone 4 and havent used my other more expensive ones since. The screen protector and stylus are a bonus.

  I have grown out of the flip cases since my XDA days as flip is good to have it in the belt or carry in hand but not in the pocket. I prefer pouch nowadays as it is easier to have the phone in the pocket.

  Best cases are Pdair cases - yes they are expensive, but fit nicely, look nice and are built to last and also come with the added option of attaching it to your belt if you wanted. £500 in such a cheap case? I don't know. Worth spending a little extra and getting a good quality one that will last you (as most people will be on 2 year contracts).
