Great price. Reviews mention thermometer perhaps not very accurate, but I think it's a good price for a novelty item.

I brought one of these last time they were listed. It was lovely for a few days until my over zealous five year old knocked it off and broke it! Children Children Children! Not going to risk buying another but they are nice and v.bright for the money. Only drawback the base looks a bit cheap but for this money what do you want.

Do the LEDs change with temperature ?, If so then why does the picture show 5 different colours all at 18Deg. C (one ball at the bottom).

No is the easy answer to this. I kind of hoped it wold be like that but it effectively works like them fibre optic trees that it cycles through the colours beaming from the bottom no matter what temp.
Bought it for £5 when it was last on and it's ok as an evening decorative piece but don't but it for temp as not accurate.
