GAME will be selling Call of Duty: Black Ops on day one for £24.99.

The price will be available to anyone who buys the game in conjunction with any other in-store chart title on either Xbox 360 or PS3.

In addition, the game will also be available to purchase for £24.99 outright if any of the following titles are traded in – Halo: Reach, Dead Rising 2, F1 2010 or FIFA 11.

In Gamestation an extra £5 of store credit will be given to anyone who trades two titles against a purchase of Black Ops. That means any consumers swapping two recent triple-A games will likely be getting the game for nothing, and possibly receive some store credit on top.

In an extra deal, Black Ops will cost just £20 when bought alongside an Xbox 360 4GB console.

All three deals will run until Sunday November 14th.

I think the first deal is good - when bought with any other chart game. The rest are rubbish though.
Wonder how it would work if you bought 2 copies - one being £40 or whatever and the other would be £25??

Yes this is the best idea even if you just go with a mate(if you have one) and buy 2 copies together it will save you a few quid, i done this for COD MW at tesco when it came out.

Surely has to be a different game?

This will be £25-£26 in sainsburys anyway...
#17
Surely it cannot go in the chart until at least day two? which would mean you cannot get 2 copies and expect one to be classed as chart....
#18
do Game allow you to take a game back within 10 days for a refund???
#19
What's the cheapest chart game they sell? Probably not so cheap?
Even if they did allow it I've just noticed it's £45 so 2 for £70 is not even that good.

You mean 10 days free rent-a-game? I don't think so.

They used to, and give you credit. I thought they still did this?

I think they do, but if game is still sealed.

Also if you think about returning the chart game, they will refund you only part of it, so it brings Black Ops to normal price.

I'm waiting for one of the supermarkets to announce their price which Amazon will certainly price match (like they did last year when Sainsburys sold it for £25) so I'll have it on Wednesday instead which is fine for me.
#26
I think the cheapest chart game is Enslaved: Odyssey to the West for the 360 for £27.99,so you can get that and black ops for £53 not bad if you wanted both those games.
#27
Considering supermarkets are said to be aiming for the £26.99 mark on release day only, trading in 2 games against Black Ops and paying £2 less, not a great deal. But that said no one has got hard proof of any of these deals just yet.

They did indeed used to do this, good times.

You can see the titles here:

http://www.game.co.uk/lowdown.aspx?lid=13695&cm_sp=callofduty-_-topnav-_-blackops

It's basically £32.50 each game. Which isn't to bad I suppose if you buy with Fallout New Vegas as I can't find that cheaper than £34.85 elsewhere.

wont let me have two COD's then for £50.00????
