GAME has started their Christmas sale today instore, I went in and noticed a few price changes, here are some of them:

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (360/PS3) £22.99 or £19.99 preowned
Call of Duty World at War (360/PS3) £22.99 or £19.99 preowned
Left 4 Dead 2 360 £29.99 PC £19.99
Gears of War (360) £9.95
Gears of War 2 GOTY £19.99
Fable 2 GOTY £19.99
Transformers 2 (360/PS3) £19.99
Beatles Rockband (PS3) £29.99

Console Deal: Xbox 360 Elite with 4 games (Lego Batman, Pure) and an extra controller, for £199.99.

If someone can supply a full list it would be appreciated as there was a lot more dropped too like most of the Guitar Hero and Rockband series, there was also new console deals too.

I don't know whether students can get 10% of these items in the sale if so more savings.

Wouldn't say any of these prices are that great to be honest.

They are the cheapest retail though, its true you can get them cheaper online but as I said its the cheapest instore prices of those games I have seen all year especailly that of Call of Duty which never drops in price in retail. I guess they are good if you are adverse to buying online and waiting for deliveries, etc.

I'm fairly sure I could get them cheaper elsewhere on the high street or in the supermarkets especially if I were to look.
I think it's Currys that price match and beat it by 10% for starters.

Curry has hardly any games same with supermarkets, its true that they are cheaper but they have almost no stock from my experience.

No stock in supermarkets? Try having a look around some of the big stores. Shelves are full of them. They can't afford not to stock computer games, especially at this time of year.
Then you've got Gamestation (part of Game?), Blockbuster, HMV, etc. There's loads of places.

It's no surprise to see this though as I know Game have had a bad year and that around 25% of their annual sales will be achieved over the next couple of weeks. There's no deal here, just advertising.

Gamestation all new -
Fable GOTY - £15.99
GOW 2 GOTY - £15.99
COD WAW - £19.99
Beatles - £25.99

Well at the very least I can't find Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare any cheaper than £22.99 new.
