GAME have just struck a deal with Nintendo for a supply of Wii consoles over Christmas Exclusive packs which have games included with the hardware, a separate SKU. There is a 2 game and a 3 game bundle price (tentatively) at £250 and £280 respectively. The Games seem to be 1st party, most likely Mario & Sonic at the Olympics, Mario Party 8 and possibly Super Mario Galaxy

These bundles will be shipping from Monday, they may be in stock on Monday, or may be in warehouses on Monday, and in stores later in the week. These bundles are totally exclusive to GAME Nintendo is thanking GAME for their support over the years, and repaying locality.

The number of Wii shipping has been described as considerate, and continuing up to Christmas. Previous shipments have been "small amount".

Any more questions, feel free to ask in the comments section. Good Luck!

Thank you to my Anonymous tip-off.

mario party 8 will be £17.49 at gamestation next week so that cools this deal a little

Bundles suck. Mostly games that the receiver probably has no interest in. Nuthin worse opening a console at christmas and get a pants game.

If you have to fork out for this package then tough luck; you should have bought your Wii earlier in the year when there were no stock issues.

I purchased a bundle from Game and then returned games and kept console only - it is not in their terms and conditions anywhere to say that you cannot do this:santa:

I thought "Fat[her] Chris[tmas]" was GameStation's publicity medium; yes, GAME own GameStation, but I didn't know he also promoted GAME as well.

Are you sure the new Wii product bundle deals are available at GAME?

If you find a sympathetic GAME Store Manager [s]he will exchange the bundled game titles in a deal from one(s) you want or, if you find a less-than-sympathetic manager, they will ask you to trade-in the titles & then sell you the preferred options with additional cash input.

Of course, you could always offer any (sealed) bundled titles here within the HotUKDeals forum(s).

He meant that the MP8 was going to be £17.49 at Gamestation, not GAME! :giggle:

perhaps fanpages should read the thread from the top then might be able too understand all the comments properly lol

I reckon game is prob one of the few high street stores that have been getting regular deliveries of wii's, sometimes twice a week, I think they usually get them on tuesdays or fridays or sometimes both.
The staff have been advised to tell customers they're not getting any before xmas, shame most stores have now have to sell them as bundles but you can take the games back
#12
These bundled games won't be allowed to be returned, because they are all part of one SKU. That's obviously part of the exclusive deal GAME requested.

Oh yes, I'm so silly. Perhaps I should just read & not offer additionally information for everybody's benefit. Please shoot me...

The customer cares not about the stores stock reference numbers, and nor should they.

Should any of the items in a bundle be faulty the customer is entitled to return to the store for an exchange, and in the event of the product not being available, a full refund.

I doubt the store will ask for the full bundle to be returned for full price refund, they will just exchange for a different title.

Argos are another example of a chain that receive Wii consoles regularly.

And so do Amazon (UK).

It's not like Christmas changes position in the Calendar every year... you sort of get a year's notice!

I was speaking with a nintendo rep last week about wii stock levels - Game will get a few deliveries but not as many as was origianlly planned so some shops may not get many and others with waiting lists are unlikely to get enough for everyone on their lists. Think it is pretty much the same everywhere.

Just a shame they offer these overpriced bundles that you don't really want just because there is such a demand for them.

Was also saying the DS lite is probably going to sell out again in most colours.

Yes, me too... but now I'm an adult with kids & I understand how the economy works with regards supply & demand I realise that if an item is in high demand all year, then it's not going to get any easier to buy at Christmas with a limited supply.

Glad you got a console though. Hope you didn't pay too much over the R.R.P for it. Nintendo have been insisting on retailers bundling one or two games with the console. Some are taking the P155 with this though & adding four or more to boost their own profits.

Come mid-January you'll find them back to £179.99 again.

Reported in another thread last week:
One particular GameStation had a waiting list of 450 names for the Wii.

Didn't realise the NDS was selling out too until somebody mentioned it to me last Friday.

It's madness! Oh to be a share-holder at Nintendo... What a rotten Christmas they must be having! ;)
