I was in my local hmv (Stockport) and the staff were just stacking the shelves and put all the game of thrones on offer, I know I was probably lucky but I thought I would share this!

I guess this was late on Saturday? Store was closed at the time of you posting on Sunday am.

yes sorry I just figured out that it actually would be cheaper buying then separately than it the set available in the works, so I thought I would post

You're right. Makes it £21 vs. £30. Good deal if they have all the books and several copies of each.

they had multiple copies of all apart from the first book, as that was out of stock but its more widely available than the rest of the books if your local doesn't have it, but the staff said they get more in every day

I had Call of Duty: World at War for the 360 from that branch two weeks ago for a fiver! The only COD I'd never played. Bargain for a new copy. Be nice if Stockport becomes somewhere that clearance items turn up more often.

I managed to get thief PC for a fiver in there too! I was so surprised when I saw it!

Awesome books. Wipe the floor with the programme despite the fact the program is amazing

Didn't post as I thought it was store specific but was the same in the Bath store. All books in the section where £2.99 including some comics.

Bought Frank Miller/Chris Claremont's Wolverine series in hardcover for £2.99!
