GAME Trade in Offer

Just traded in a few PS3 titles today in GAME and if you're trading 2 or more in you will get an extra 25% on top of the usual value they give you.

I'm not sure how long this is running for but was at Basildon in Essex, I assume its a national offer.

I managed to get back more than I had paid for Kane & Lynch & Uncharted

Hope this is of some help, my first post so hopefully its OK.......

problem with game stores is that they are sooooooooooo overpriced on all their games. I went in my local one the other day. Some of the pre-owned games are actually 39.99 to buy. Thats the brand new price of all the games online!!!! So the money your getting back extra isn't very good as the games cost more!!

Yes, but the trick is to buy the games elsewhere.

But you can't use the money anywhere else it can only be used when buying stuff in the expensive store

Game trade in is a complete rip off... It's equally as bad as Blockbuster.

You buy games elsewhere cheap and trade them in, they do occasionly have good deals.
Also, has it been confirmed that it is a trade only offer?

I've been buyin a GBA game and trading it at game for £6 each trade value not cash, they are then putting the game on their shelves as pre-owned for £12.99................I'm paying £1.75 each for them lol. The manager said to me that he might not be able to take in more in as he cant sell them, i wonder why they cant! lol
