GameCube Accessories 50p Each Instore @ Gamestation

I know this is instore only and chances are a lot of stores probably have no stock. But got 3 controllers and a memory card for a total of £2 at Gamestation in Bath yesterday - had to ask at the desk as they keep them in the back.

Probably not worth a specific trip but if you're looking for some Gamecube controllers and you're near a Gamestation could be worth a check.

Am I right in thinking that these can be plugged into the Wii to use on games from the wii store?

We got given a Game Cube yesterday. We've got a Wii already. Are there any decent games you can recommend for 6 to 10 year olds?

That'd be interesting. The one we got with the Gamecube has a strange plug on the end. The Wii only seems to have a connection for USB on the back. Is that right?

Thanks in advance.

Theres a flap on the top or front where the gamecube ports reside.

I'd highly recommend Super Monkey Ball or Super Monkey Ball 2.

Brilliant! Thanks guys. Didn't even know that was there.

What can I use it for then?

New or used?

Cube controllers are supported in Mario Kart on the Wii and the Wii will play (i think) all gamecube games natively, which require the cube controllers. I'll have to leave it to someone else to explain what you can get from the on-line store and if that uses the controls !

i need one of these so my kids can play 2 player, i asked my store if they had any more gamecube games other than the few on the shelves, and they pulled out a pile of about 50 discs from a drawer all unboxed games, £2 each, i got some great games my kids are well happy, zelda collectors edition, warioworld, resident evil 4, ikaruga, pikmin 2 were the better ones, so many to choose from, some were a bit scratched, and lots of copys of sonic ... but worth asking ..

100% yes on Mario Kart, I just can't get to grips with the Wii wheel. It doesn't seem to react as well as a good old fashioned pad. I've not tried smash bros with it though, but I have to admit Smash bros is one game that I just can't get into.

Is there any chance they have the component cable for the GameCube?!! I have the early version of the consol with that output and right now cannot use it! The regular output looks awful and washed out with my LCD!

Cheers!

do they have wavebird for a decent price?
#23
No dice, asked how much they are priced at and was told £5 (still a good price as CEX have them for £10) also said they rarely get any in stock now.

Got 2 sets of Donkey kong bongos for £1.99 each - got the first set about 2 months ago and I've been in every week asking if they have had any more. Finally got a second set!!
