Wasn't expecting to like it but very addictive. I found it quite tough but i am poo at these types of games.
It is strangely addictive, I think it is down to the save points being at the end of the day.
I managed to get all the cheevos despite not being very good at these types of games but once you get into a rhythm of doing various tasks in the same order each day then it becomes pretty easy....you just need to be a good person (& not go out on the rob :D)
Mainly took ages to get to grips with the combat. Had to leave it for a bit, but i have every intention of having a few more goes at it. Must get past 11 days! That's poor isn't it?
I stayed away from combat & stealing except for one time, the combat did seem very poor and had a negative effect on moral. It is not too difficult to be generally a good group and stay away from dangerous zones.

Noted (thanks for the tips, that's probably where I've been going wrong, had a few suicides from stealing and guilt trips from others. I've been looking at it on my dash last couple of days. Gonna have another bash later.

Mega bucks on ios - got on a deal though at similar price to this.

THE most addictive game ever and, equally, frustrating. When it all starts to go wrong, you can end up in a kind of death spiral and lose through a thousand cuts. Of course when you get used to playing the game, you learn ways to avoid this happening. But there are always the variables that make it difficult to plan for every eventuality.

Brilliantly clever and easily the best app i have ever played. You don't have to be a sims fan do you enjoyed this game; I'm certainly not.

Heat added.
Really great game and 100% worth the price.

It says I've spent 300 hours nearly on this game. :s

I don't know how to feel about that.

I'm going to play it now.

If Civ5 was burgers I'd be a shut in.
Great game for the price. Hundreds of hours spent on it. Way better than Civ6 which is prettier but incomplete and neither has decent AI, gameplay or any addictiveness. After a few expansions and fixes I may retry Civ 6, but at that price folks for the full version of the best game in the Civ series, you would be mad not to.
This is Steam too
I put some crazy hours into Civ 5 a few years ago but feel i could easily put he same amount of time in all over again before i'd need to buy 6. Very addictive game and well worth this price.

Been looking to get a real tone cable for a while but never seem to find it at a decent price. Any current good offers for this?
God damn it I forgot to buy this when it was posted and now it's gone back up in price.

I bought this in the steam Xmas sales, but I'm getting bored with the songs now (for bass). does anyone know of a way to get the dlc songs cheaper than steam sell them for?
They're quite often in the Steam sales, they'll put everything bar the most recent songs up. Customs Forge used to have them, but the last time I checked they'd removed anything that had an official version and replaced it with a store link.

Is this good for absolute beginners? I'm close to buying an electric guitar & starting to learn
Perfect for beginners, I couldn't play a chord before I got it and now I can play full songs at 90% plus! It's still not easy but if you put the time in you'll definitely learn

Awesome! I shall get on it then, just need to buy a guitar first

To find out the lowest price of something at a given moment you need a price comparison site

This site is for Hot UK deals - and £30 for a PC game is not a hot deal

Really, really buggy game. Fighting one boss he just stops fighting. Or dies and the game progression blocks.

They're never going to fix the bugs either, definitely one to avoid imo.
Great game, 11 hours into it, annoyingly it crashes quite often (most of the time when I die and it reloads, maybe I shouldn't die so much :D).
Did I miss this one...saying £14.99 for me? Thanks

Hi there, by no means a huge racing sim fan. But I bought this for a similar price a while back. Runs fine for me, it looks great and is very much like all the other F1 games I have played. It scratched that itch. 2016 might be better but is it £5.

Already got loads of RPGs and don't want to spend on more when I've already got a huge back log.
My personal favourite of the GameCube. Decent story, memorable characters, good combat system.

I think this should be considered a classic.
Plus a good post game dungeon of such, with an incredibly hard optional boss.

Thanks Op, great deal and im looking forward to a little bit of nostalgic monkey island gaming. Thanks also to Tavueni for pointing out the lucas arts pack too, i decided to add it in too.
Unfortunately I've also hit the dreaded manual review blocker (they've also taken payment straight away which is rather cheeky). I'm not much of a gamer so could someone please explain to me how how this will be installed? I've already got steam installed (only for my football manager addiction :) ), will the purchased games appear in steam for download? Sorry for the dummy question.
Also have any of the others who hit the manual review blocker had their purchases 'reviewed' yet? Thanks
No worries. It took about 6 hours but the review was successful. The Lucasarts adventure pack seems to have been the catalyst for it but hope it came through.
To your Steam question, once it's been approved, you can just click on the order and copy the activation code which you just drop into Steam in the normal (+Add Game in the corner) way.
The offer is expired now because Monkey Island pack is showing as £10.99 with the adventure pack now at £6.99.

Thanks for the reply Taveni. I figured out how to add them in the end, I just do so little gaming these days I'd never had to add a game to steam before that I hadn't bought throught the client.
I'm not going to take your insolence sitting down!

GTA 5 on Xbox one S or the PC (MSI twin fozer 770 gtx) I know the graphics are always better on PC but which would you choose?

I tend to play with the keyboard and mouse for everything but then pick up the controller to drive as that always feels better to me!

Feels natural to do that, switching while getting in and out the car!

I tried doing that with the pad too as I feel much better driving with it on GTA 4, shooting with the mouse is ace though. problem is finding the mouse quickly in the heat of battle when you bail out the car

I played and finished the main mission on 360 - still tempted to get this for the upgraded graphics ... worth it?

Yes, I had it on PS3 and bought the Steam version for my PC a couple of days ago, running very high settings at 1080p with between 60-80FPS and it's like a completely different game (running an i5 4690k with GTX970 and 16GB RAM)

mancityfan95

It's quite good actually. In races it shows you whether people are using mouse/keyboard or controller and its about 50/50 split. Obviously you get slightly better accuracy with controller but you can easily compete with m/k. Also for everything else m/k wins hands down

Totally agree, in the 2hrs I've been using K&M, it seems like driving, shooting & running are much better. I assume that you disable the auto aim assist in the menu? Also I thought controller and K&M players were separated in multiplayer? or is that just when you disable aim assist?

Well you can have both plugged in and play with either at any time so I doubt they split players based on what they use but I could be wrong. It definitely doesn't split players in races as you can see what people use
