Is there decent community for UT3....I remember it no being received well, though I really liked it?

Is it sad that for the last 18 months ( literally ) ive played Unreal T 3 ( PS3 ) for almost 3 hours a night....nothing else ( and I have an XBONE )... :-)

No, it's still a great game and there's not much like that these days aside from Doom. I'm always hoping they'll release a new one even if it's just most of the old stuff using a new Unreal engine but it's day seems to be done now the likes of BF and CoD are much more popular.

John
I got this!

FINALLY! :D

Now I will be able to see WTF happened in Unreal 2. I only had a demo when I was a teen, and at the end of demo, a monster starts breaking up a door and the game ends there itself :(

Now If I only have time to play games :{

From Wiki:

The original Supreme Ruler games were the inspiration for George Geczy and David Thompson to create a new, modern version of the game, for the Windows PC platform. This project began in January 2000 with the formation of BattleGoat Studios and culminated with the release of Supreme Ruler 2010 in May 2005, followed by sequels Supreme Ruler 2020 in June 2008, Supreme Ruler Cold War in July 2011 and a pre-release of Supreme Ruler 1936 in December 2013 and the latest release Supreme Ruler Ultimate, which streamlines all four modern installments into one game

Apparently based on a game published for the TRS-80 (who?) in 1982! oO

Has anyone bought from Gamersgate? Is it reputable/reliable?

I bought both games. The site felt a bit dodgy (my order went in review so I had to wait for 2 hours before getting the games) but in the end both codes activated correctly on steam which is all I need :) Got the remasters as well!
Fantastic games. Looking forward to returning to Rapture some time to replay these.

Damn. Last year this was a really good set of games X)

1 year on and now suddenly they're terrible. Not that I'd ever suggest votes here reflect which way the wind happens to be blowing...

Risen is fun for exploring and looking for rare herbs but the combat is terrible. Really badly done to point of game breaking in places.

Nah. Just takes some getting used to. It's still better than Morrowind or Oblivion ever will be.

It's not value for money, the risen games are terrible. Not voting either way
In what way, exactly? They're epic - in the literal sense. Don't have the relentless promotion that the mediocre Elderscrolls games do but that doesn't make them bad.
I only played the first two games and having played similar games like oblivion/skyrim/dragon age & kingdoms of Amalur I found the risen games very poor in terms of gameplay and graphics...

Kingdoms of Amalur is an incredible game but it's more arcadey than the Risen games - although pretty much anything destroys the tragic attempt at combat in the Elderscrolls series - Risen included.

Wait is this 2 and not the stupid remastered version?
Looks like it's just regular 2 yeah, have you played both? I've finished SoTFS version and all the DLC and have recently picked up the regular version to see the difference. Do you prefer the regular one?
I played through the original at release, and SotFS just a couple of months ago. Mostly I couldn't tell the difference (except for the addition of the DLC, of course) - although there are some new enemies in old areas that are difficult to spot. I preferred the area with the lion thingies in the original compared with SotFS. There are more NPC invasions in the update, though, which I like, and the DLC was good.
With DSII: SotFS $10/10e at IndieGala right now, I'd say it's worth the extra pound or two for getting all the DLC.
I finished SoTFS a few months back on the PS4 and thought it was brilliant! Bought the regular version on the Ps3 to compare. Just finishing up on Bloodborne and then going to jump in to it again. Its never going to happen but I really wish they would do a remaster of the DS1 with the prepare to die DLC included as I've not played the Artorias stuff yet. Or even a remaster of Demon's Souls in the DS3 engine, just for the platforming parts, Demon's was a masterpiece but with the additional steadiness under foot in the later games, running at 1080p/60fps like SoTFS it would be even better!!
There almost certainly wont be a remaster of demons as it belongs to sony. But i think ds1 will almost certainly get a hd "remaster" but not by fromsoftware (they have stated they are done with the series) as bandai namco own the rites and will likely see it as a good idea especialy after the sucsess of ds3

Yeah I've played and finished both on PS3 and PS4, and although the remastered version is much superior as it has all the DLC and graphical/performance improvements I really did not like how they remixed the enemy placements on the remastered version. I know it's not a popular statement as most people say it's much better/fairer but found the game to be more of a grind and ultimately less fun than the original.
Wish I could play the remastered version but toggle back to the original enemy placements.

I'm just working my way through Bloodborne DLC for the first time and will be going back to DS2 on PS3 when I'm done so will check out what you've said. Being able to toggle between old and new would have been an amazing feature for SoTFS to have mind. They should have thought of that, I'd never have had to spend the whole £4.00 on getting the PS3 one then!

Graphics to rival Teletext, but gameplay to rival anything. Light Sabre mutiplayer battles, never been as good as in Jedi Academy and Outlast, if there's servers still going then try it out.
Clearly a typo but how good would Outlast be with a lightsabre instead of a video camera...

I imagine you'd end up lightsabering yourself in the face.

Perfectly enjoyable and playable FPS with a certainly unique style.

From the same devs as Turning Point, Fall Of Liberty. They had some fantastic ideas for games but not the chops to really make good ones.

What the hell was that crap? 4 self-congratulatory cretins with some dodgy Flash animation and them constantly wittering?
Here's an actual IDEA of the game without smug idiots ruining it for you:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQuMChyW0zo
The animation is intentionally crude. As for smug, whaa? Different strokes I guess, I find them generally entertaining and thought the vids gave a good indication of what the game is like, including a game-breaking bug right near the end. They take the pee out of everything BTW, including games they like.
Legendary on Metacritic: http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/legendary

Ughh if I knew nothing about a game, I would want to see...the game not a load of lairy men shouting about it. But yeah that is my personal preference - and thankfully you didn't think I was directing all my bile at you personally.
