Mega Update - the Sku's listed on post 194 will work as reserve & collect on the Pcworld Website........... Get your running shoes on :)

Too many to list - will let you guys post which games you think are the best bargains. (I'm not too clever on the game front).

Credit goes to Hayley50 on MSE for the heads up on this one.

Update:

If you enter 4.97 or 9.97 in the search field you will see further games displayed available to reserve and collect in-store, mainly PS2 and DS.

Note: all games mentioned in this thread are available in-store at the lower price. If you see a game with a higher price, it will scan at the lower price - staff are just slow at changing price tickets, whilst head office didn't inform stores well enough that these reductions were being implemented.

See post 11 which Prufrock has kindly collated a list of games available - rep given.

See post 194 for list of cheaper games with sku's - cheers to Noz on MSE.

I actually asked to have a look at the list of games going cheap, there must have been 6 or 7 pages worth of it so definately worth checking instore too...
#22
Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for a little under a tenner is definitely worth the money but I really wanted to get Tetris DS but it's out of stock in my local shop. Could take a bus to the city...nah. :P

The clue is in the 97p on the end. Stores price clearance items like this and very difficult to locate anything.

Agree with other who have mentioned that stock availability instore seems greater than that advertised on the website.
I believe that if there is less than 3 instock, than the website will show it as out of stock, so worth a look instore if you've reserved something else.
Went to 2 stores this morning, and both hadn't changed the prices on the games - had to grab a load and get them to check the prices via the tills - all were showing a higher price on the game.

Couldn't see it at that price, only a few games for £4.97 on the PS3, I don't own one really so thats why i didn't pay much attention, it might have been £9.97. And it was only what that certain branch had in stock.

Sorry mate...
#29
nice if your have a store close that has stock, my local has a few in stock but not the ones I really really want but hey Viking for £4.97 on ps3 it's worth that, only just but still, thanks to Op

Yep, all the games i got were at the reduced price i.e Iron Man on 360 stickered at £25, paid £9.97.

If i don't like the game I will trade in at Gamestation - price-matching cex @ £14 + £1 = £15 trade
#31
