Nice price... have some heat.
#2
You should have said 4th Gen in the title. Good deal.
#3
The RRP on this is £179.99 :) Hot
#4
Wanted to buy from Argos as I have nectar points but they are OOS.

Might just get from Gamestation.
#5
this a good deal, no need to rely on cash back.

:{
#6
do they have them instore as well? if so might trade some stuff and get gamestation to match cex prices lol.
#7
From the description this looks like a 3rd generation. Also they have a 16gb 'V3' when the last time there was a 16gb iPod Touch was the 2nd generation.
#8
hot!!!
#9
i dont think there is a cheaper joint in the UK to buy one of these. This is going to blow the roof off HUKD
#10
don't forget 1.5% cashback from topcashback or guidco. :D work out £225
#11
Have updated title as suggested. Cheers for the advice.

this comment worries me now

I certainly hope it ain't as straight back it goes!!!!! I am assuming that the web design guys were just being lazy. They class this as "new" on the list and as they call this "V4" then by all a counts this should be the new model.

considering you can get an excellent 20GB mp3 player for about £50 (sansa clip+ 8gb + 16gb microsd) i'm wondering what people do with these that makes them worth so much. serious question, not trolling!
if you're watching video, aren't there better devices (bigger screens?)
if you're playing games, aren't there better devices (ds?)
is there something really nice you can do with these other than music/video/games?
#15
No retina mention, no facetime, no camera... Sounds like 3rd Gen to me.
#16
I'm somehow doubting this is the 4g. I just can't see it being it.
#17
off to apple to buy with 10% discount. just in case

Video, music, games, internet surfing, e-mailing, taking photos, taking HD video, video-calling.. it's much better than a Sansa Clip or any other media player on the market.
#21
I've expired this for the time being and have sent them an email to confirm. Just in case. Fingers crossed that this is the new un.
#22
Hot deal forthe 8gb if its 4th gen.
Im seriously considering upgrading from my 2nd gen. But will probably wait a while still.

BTW - IMHO ipod touch is the perfect alround device unless you have an iphone ofcorse . Replaced my phone, for quick emails, music, quickly checking the net..
#23
Why? It's obvious it's the new one, it says V4 so it's the fourth generation, it's a 'New' product and has a higher price range with no active discounts.

MY LOL OF THE DAY!

RECOMMENDATIONS:

GET OUT FROM YOUR CAVE!

Didn't want people to go through the hassle of opening accounts and offering etc etc etc.

Adamo thanks for answering. i remain unconvinced, seeing as this isn't a phone it's still something you'd have to carry in addition. i realise this isn't the place to discuss this. just wondered if there was some new use or other device it could replace. me personally, it's worse than a Clip as an mp3 player (bigger, slower to use, heavier, more delicate, itunes, sound quality yadda yadda).

edit: just read description, it is still marketed as a media player. i guess if you like buying through itunes and watching tv shows etc. it makes sense.

@ leritz - glad to provide lols. i am here out of my cave asking what you do with this product :)

and this can be unexpired i think

What? I have never bought from iTunes and never watch TV shows unless on iPlayer yet have an iPod Touch. Why does it have to replace anything? It does a lot of things really well that other devices can't, in one unit.

But it's obviously the fourth generation one, it even says V4 and is above the other generations of iPod Touch.

Eh? Ipod's don't have the best audio quality, so to say it's the best music player is a bit dumb.

No, if this was the case then the 2nd generation 16gb touch they have listed on their website should say 'V2' rather than 'V3'.

I didn't say that, moron. So thanks for calling me dumb, but I said it was the best MEDIA player. Is that big enough for you? MEDIA. The only thing better is a laptop/netbook.

how you get 10% off?

through the recycle program

if you want audio quality you wouldn't buy an MP3 player!
#33
What else would you recommend when I go running? Or when out an about?
#34
oh boy, i've opened a can of worms
I'd recommend the Sansa Clip.. it's very light, and can play FLAC ;)

(ipod might play lossless formats aswell, i don't know, this was intended as a joke)

only reason I have a touch is as adamo mentioned it's a good all rounder. play games that I can just drop in an d out of, if i wanted to just check emails, I can, without having to wait for the pc or laptop to start up, it handy to listen to music, can keep contact dtls as well as various apps that you can get for it. as they say, it's a jack of all trades and master of none. it a good all rounder!!!.

adamo, begining to think that this is 3rd gen now as they have V3 listining as "new" still" and also they don't have a listing for the new gen nanos on the site. when i get reply, i will update.

night all.

probably a nano for exercise. The touch is overkill
#38
