This is a crucial product for anyone that has a wireless controller and is the cheapest alternative to playing without wires.
Currently the next cheapest method is about £12 with the plug and charge but for one, it's more expensive and 2, it elliminates the whole point of wireless controller.

The next cheapest method is the Quick Charge kit, which is practically same machine but it actually costs almost double the price currently at £15.

This also comes with a battery, which is about £7-£8 on it's own, so the charger comes for practically free.
It's currently at £7.99 including free delivery and has a retail price of £14.99, so it's a great discount for a new product.

Rechargeable battery for the Xbox 360 wireless controller.
Saves money by eliminating the need for costly disposable batteries.
Individual charger for charging the additional battery whilst using the wireless controller.

Don't forget to go through Quidco to receive 4% cashback, making it £7.67 all inclusive and hope this helps. :)

That's true so that means that if you order today, it will be dispatched in 2-3 days, as preorders are normally dispatched 2-3 days in advance, so customers can receive there purchase on time for the launch or slightly before.

Keep an eye out for boots, as they had a premium pack, PGR 3, Live Arcade, 1 month xbox live and extra Wireless Controller for £249.99 delivered plus they offer 4% points cashback + £7.50 in points + 3.5% cashback from Quidco.

They have stock now but the price has increased.

http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1081325&classificationid=1043913

Just checked and it's out of stock and the price has jumped by £50 but still keep an eye out, as i feel it will go back down and stock will come in again, as it has already done a couple times.

The next best bundle i've found is Choicesuk's premium 360, Gears of War, Crackdown, PGR 3, Live Arcade, 1 month xbox live and extra wirless controller for £299.99.

http://www.choicesuk.com/Product.aspx/!827473

Also call your local blockbuster, gamestation and HMV to findout there best deals, as some of them have some excellent packages that aren't advertised.

Hope that helps. :)

They do have these in black too, just went to Toys R Us to check out the bargain 360 games and they had them there instore, but were £9.99 so cheaper on here, good find!!!

Yeah, thanks for that. I ordered the one from Boots at £249 and they cancelled my order due to "a security check". They then told me that I couldn't order it for 48 hours due to a "block" on my account. Low and behold, when I tried to re-order it, it was out of stock. Then it came back into stock on Saturday but they will not honour my initial order - "They suck!" - beware.....

I think it's because they realised that they were making too much of a loss offering a great bundle at a low price, then people obviously took advantage of the 4% reward points, 750 reward points voucher and 3.5% quidco, they easily end up making a loss on the package, which would mean they would end up selling the console package for £220.

Obviously they shouldn't of handled the situation and they should just bite the bullet on that one and then when they received new stock, they could then increase the price, as it's unfair how they have treated you, only to get the product a couple days later but with a huge price increase.

It now seems that the best offer is probably the package that Choicesuk offer for £300 with the same as boots offer plus Gears of War and Crackdown.

Like i mentioned earlier, i do advise quick calls to some of the highstreet offers. :)

only problem with this is you can't play & charge.
the official one is more expensive but at least when the battery pack goes I can plug it into the machine and still play whilst it charges up, this one would need to sit and charge at an outlet I assume
Also a bonus to the play and charge is that if you're caught short and have no batteries, stick the battery pack in the second pad and hook up the first pad to the console with the cable, sans battery pack it will still play.

but on topic, nice find :)

You can also buy that for £9.99 from DVD.co.uk and i think it's worth having both as i already do, as it's good for what you mentioned and i've said the same in the past and this one is great for keeping the wireless controller........ wireless.

Although it would been nice for you to receive rep for it, it's upto everyone else to provide rep if they feel to..... i always give rep to people who have spotted a deal and i've taken advantage of it, as a little thank you. :)

To be honest though mate, that Boots deal isn't new, you just let people know when they restocked, as it was the same deal as before but they had triple points, giving an additional 8% in points.

Could you post the code on here, or is it only for personal use?

Cheers

Think the idea of having one of these is to have 1 more battery than the number of controllers you have, so you can just swap batteries and leave the empty battery charge whilst you still play. So 2 controllers and 3 batteries should suffice.

Got mine thru the other day but for the life of me i cant get the battery to work. Has anyone else had problems with it?

When i plug it into the charger the red light comes on, so i left it for a few hours, the light never changes from red (is it sposed to?)

I put the battery in my wireless controller and it wont even turn on. It wont charge in the controller via my play&charge cable either

So should i send it back to play.com as faulty?
