Thanks to the original OPs for some of the better deals, hope this expanded list helps a few of you. Remember the current points deal at Currys too -although good luck finding any of those left!

Edit: As Adidas Addict points out, if you find one of these games in store and it's priced at the usual retarded amount, take it to the counter. The staff just cba to replace the stickers. The copy of Bayonetta I got was still priced up at £19.99

Well, these were all in stock at the PC World/Currys duo in Greenwich earlier today, but yeah, obviously with these clearance items you take a gamble.

Always get a price check done on the games listed though - they will often not update the stickered price.

Most seem to be like this. Its like thay just don't even try to sell these games.

Same here all my local stores never have any of these instock, I think its all a big ruse to get you to go into the shop then get bombarded by the staff.
#7
my PC World stocks nothing but games I haven't seen since the mid-ninties...
#8
Half of these deals have already been posted. . . . . . . . . . . with most saying that they can't find these prices in their local store!
#9
None of these in Stretford Manchester store, but did have Prince of Persia DS for £5 and Rooms DS for £15 - and big sign saying 10% off all games marked price. I don't know why they bother selling games as they have practically no stock at the best of times, apart from stands full of really rubbish stuff from the 1990's like design Your Own Cat Outfits and so on.

Thanks for the heads up - will check my local stores tomorrow :D

awful stores, girlfriends dad went in to buy a netbook at xmas and the salesman asked us 6 times to purchase vastly overpriced av software for £50!, he became aggressive when we didnt want the software. We asked what the problem was with his attitude, he then layed on some sob story about having no money and a son in hospital.

Professionalism or what.

I can't stand stepping in these stores either. They're full of monkeys who at the best of times know how to read the label underneath each product.

I remember my last visit to PC World, planned on being in and out in 2 minutes. Straight in, asked the lad at the door where the monitor power leads were, the genius took me to a parallel printer cable and when I questioned whether he was serious, he swore blind it was a monitor power lead haha. I had to laugh, even my brother who knows the bare minimum about hardware knew what it was!

thanks for posting everything together

I dont like these stores either through bad experiences but I still go in occasionally to check the games out - picked up Warioware DIY (DS) for £4.47 in Currys the other day so well worth a look in. Would have been cheaper but they forgot to take the 10% off and I forgot to ask as I was too chuffed at how cheap it was.

The thing with Currys/PCworld games, they often have a price sticker from like 12 months ago as they don't sell many games. If you see something that's been listed on here, take it to the counter and ask them to check the price, all DSG stock is linked to the central prices, only managers specials differ which these usually aren't.

Half of these games were recalled weeks ago due to not selling through quick enough. They are clearance I can tell you that our local store has very few left! If you can get them, get them as soon as you see it because it's all due for recovery soon!!!
