255g (British) of these are regularly £1 at Iceland, so a good deal.
Voted Hot.

Bought some of the unsmoked ones about a week ago @ 90p very nice & succulent
especially with some sweet chilli pineapple rings cooked in the gammon fat.

artery cloggingingly lovely

I got some of these last week and although a little salty, they were lovely.

Thanks OP

Are you telling me that pigs in Denmark get treated worse than those in the UK?

(or those in space for that matter.......)
#18
Sorry, I was fuming and no-one to vent too. Eat the piggies, they are yummy!

Sounds like the standard LIDL put-down from someone who's never shopped there. Or who thinks, for some odd reason, that the Germans have low standards when it comes to buying food. :p

Personally - I dont buy bakery items from them - after a bad experience with mouldy bread. But each to their own.
#25
Big signs everywhere saying all their fresh meat is British. Yuk.
#26

#27
I grabbed a load of burgers from there last night, made with monterey jack and chilli. Was impressed enough to get more today for a BBQ, and they'd reduced loads to 49p a pack as their best before date is today. Bargain :)

was wondering where lidl got there meat from :):):)
#32
Nope, according to the huge signs I mentioned earlier they get it from Britain. Well, the fresh stuff anyway and certainly in my local one. RV is too small to provide enough on its own, they need a larger area, apparently they even go north of the M25!
suspended#33
as other said, must be lcoal - normal price in mine

As a Quorn eater, I'm tempted to post replies along the lines of what meat eaters do when ever there's a Quorn offer on here. But I won't. You eat things that roll around in **** if you like, I will even vote hot because this site is about bargains not peoples tastes.
#35
Unlike veg which grows in ****? Can't see an issue myself, each to their own. Fair play on the positive vote though, makes a change from some of the locals.
