For those thinking of upgrading from the 3HR, dont, its not worth the money for minor tweaks.
I got the Fenix 5 for £387 but will be sticking with my 3HR until I can test the 5X.

Blacks have just price-matched and added an extra 10% off for me. Just phone them up to get it for 390 quid

Tell them it's from the official Garmin shop on Amazon. They did it for me, so I don't see why they wouldn't for others.

I was thinking of getting a 3HR but this looks a great price for the 5. Would you still recommend the 5 even though not as an upgrade on the 3HR?

Id recommend the 5 as a great multisport watch. If you can get the 3HR for under £300 then go for the 3HR otherwise this is a good price but also bare in mind the size difference as this deal is for the 5s (small) 42mm . The 3HR is appx 49mm, thats a big difference. The 5 I just got is 47mm but I actually prefer the size of my 3HR which will be about the same as the 5X.
I also think the strap feels very cheap on the 5 and if you want to replace it they are about £40 at the mo.
The 5s is also non Sapphire.

The white band version only though? As the black is still full price on Amazon.

Unfortunately they won't currently price match as it is not in stock. But still not a bad price. Personally I am hoping that the black 5s gets reduced again. 5 and 5x to big for everyday in my opinion.

These deals generally go cold simply because of the price, despite it being a deal people wont vote hot because they still think its expensive for a sports watch.
Votes dont matter, you gain nothing from them, quite pointless really but those that want one appreciate you posting , thats all that matters.

I agree. Think it's a great find! I am just gutted I missed the price on the black 5s. I'll keep my eye on it now though. And even if it doesn't drop again, blacks will 10% price match down t0 450 anyway, so you will have saved me at least 50 quid. So thanks!

It's been reduced again and blacks just priced matched for me. So thank you! Definitely a hot deal from me.
