is this a better deal than the equally priced tomtom1 xmas package?

 Ive tried a Garmin Nuvi and a Tom Tom. The Tom Tom is much easier to use and the voice is better in my opinion. The Tom Tom Xmas Cracker is only £99 at amazon....I Would Get that instead!:-D

the tom tom one v3 has many short comings, not least the lack of a SD card slot so you can only ever add new maps using 'mapshare' or whatever its called. I prefer the Garmin which is a lot thinner and easier to slip in the pocket. Also the Garmin car mounts can easily double up as dash board mounts or windscreen - not so easy or even inmpossible with the ones you get in the box with Tom Tom.
