That is one incredible price for a very decent sat nav! HOT

Got this. Great Sat Nav. Paid £95 from Amazon back in April.

We've just bought the nuvi 200, does anyone know what makes this one different (apart from the European)? Thanks

The OP and the Amazon site both have "Bluetooth" yet can't find any info to support this, in fact others confirm it hasn't - it would be steal if it had! :-(

You can get TomTom running on cheaper units if you know how, but this is still a cheap alternative if you want the main competitor's offering.

No Bluetooth according to Garmin, but still a good price.

I've had one of these for a year or so, and have used it when driving in the UK, Spain, France and Poland.
It's an excellent piece of kit, and an absolute steel at £89.
Highly recommended

Edit: I can confirm that it doesn't have Bluetooth

I've had one of these for a year or so - it's great! I paid £115 for it then (from Amazon). A few things to note:

My suction cup broke (the ball joint on the back fell apart), I rang Garmin and they sent me a brand new one the next day.

I got a free map update sent on DVD (City Navigator NT Europe 2008) when I registered with Garmin - so check the map version installed, I believe this should be free still.

On my unit, some of the paint (near where it clips on to the mount), has come off, other than that it is a great little sat nav for the money

It also displays an occasional tendency to want to send you down back routes rather than A roads, and got very lost near Cheltenham once. I've used it a lot, and it's really good for driving on the continent. If you are going on a long journey, or want to avoid traffic, it's best to check its route, for example, it once tried to send me through Paris in the rush hour...

I'd check your settings, you may have checked a box to "avoid toll roads" or motorways. When in France you get some very interesting routes if you check the box saying "avoid tolls"!

I've got the Nuvi 300T from Tesco a few months back for £90 odd quid. They are very easy to use, so for this price should be a steal! HOT

I have a pink one of these and paid £150 in April for it as my Tomtom One went wrong so replaced it with this. I have had no problems with it and so far clocked up about 2500 miles of hassle free driving.
This is better than marriage guidance, no need to even to talk to my hubby on a long drive lol.:whistling:

One of these with Tomtom 7 and an 8GB memory card is what I use. Even though mine is cheaper I'll still vote this hot as not everybody is capable of getting something like a Navigo to run with Tomtom.

Hi could anybody confirm that these have all the details to work in Northern Ireland and also Southern Ireland? I've heard of people buying these and not having the correct maps etc for over here!
Thanks in advance!
