That is a really good price for that :) Great first post!

Welcome to HUKD!

It says north america or europe maps but not both. On other websites it states if it is europe version or us one but not on ebuyers website.

Who knows what they may send too!

Very good price though.

Don't forget 1.5% quidco. Not much, but at least it's nearly £3!

Someone up there must have heard me cursing my bad luck... because I just checked the Ebuyer site again and they've taken payment!!! Delivery in 2 days time.

Anyway - 8 back in stock now for some reason. So get in quick anyone who missed out last time.

Got my delivery through, but only got 2 SD memory cards that I tagged on to the order, no SatNav. Logged back on to the Ebuyer site and discovered an ENote added yesterday which states:

"Garmin Streetpilot C510

Dear Sir/ Madam

Unfortunately the above product is no longer available to send to you and I apologise we are unable to send the C550 version on this occasion.

We have cancelled your order on line which will allow you to replace a new order for an alternative item and to ensure you do not receive incorrect goods that are not required.

Sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Kind Regards

Ebuyer Customer Support
"

Not sure what this is all about since the order was for the C550 not the C510, but looks like they messed up and have cancelled the order. This is extremely annoying as I had specified priority delivery and ended up paying £10+ for delivery on the two memory cards. Anyone manage to get theirs?

I got the same message. Very frustrated!

I've sent them an email thanking them for telling me they're out of stock of the C510 and asking for the C550 I ordered! Has anyone also checked their account? It now says C510 order was cancelled!

Just checked my credit-card and they charged me for the SatNav that they didn't send! I suppose since they've taken payment that we now have a legally binding contract that (in theory) I could force them to honour or claim loss of bargain...

Not sure I fancy all that hassle mind...

On a separate note, I did ENote them about the over the top delivery charge for the SD memory cards and to their credit, I got a very prompt reply (only 10 minutes later!) saying that they would refund me the postage.

Just got another reply from Ebuyer (again within a few minutes of asking - got to admire the speed of response!) about what happened...

"Unfortunately we were unaware of this stock discrepancy until your order went through to our warehouse to be dispatched.
At this point, the goods we held were found to be incorrect and not as described. We offer since apologies for any disruption caused."

My guess is what they thought was a stack of C550s turned out to be C510s.
