  The date on the box is actually the date the item was packaged (if you look below the printed date it states what it is) and it states to use it within 36 months of this date...so mine says Oct 2010 - that gives me until Oct 2013 to use it...I don't see any danger in that!!!!

  i known for ages that they sold them there if you look at at the date it is two years over the sell by date it dangerous duh

  good find,theres some good finds in 99p and pound land these days just dont understand why all the other shops cant sell them at these prices too,

  Because they wouldn't make any profit, shops with a one price business model make most of there money from loss leaders to entice you in and then getting you to purchase more stuff that is good value but actually isn't as good value as what you think
  
  couple of examples:
  
  Paracetamol/Ibuprofen - 3 for £1 actually less than 25p at some places who knows what they buy them for!
  Packs of brand name sweets and other food packaed specifically for there stores with 50g less than what other stores sell

  If it hadnt been from these developing countries we wouldnt have products which are as cheap as they are atm. So just appreciate.

  Yes not many products are made in the UK - it has the garnier label plastered over it and it is their product - I doubt they'd let anything pass if it did not meet their standards, no matter where it is made. The deal was put up for people who would like to purchase the product, if you do not because you don't believe the quality is as it should be - do not buy it. I am using it as I believe they have quality checks and laws to abide by, as do the 99p stores for selling them.
  
  Something unsafe would not be allowed to be sold - and I'm a bit annoyed that people are seeming to suggest I'd direct people to a product that is dangerous. The uprawr this has got has led me to not bother with any more posts on this site, seems its full of nit picker nastys that spoil it for everyone else - its the same over tons of these deals.
