I got his when it was on offer for under £5 at WHSmith before xmas but our daughter HATES it!! LOL!

Anyone know where to get a refill for the bubble solution, or can anything else be used as a suitable replacement? Got the deal previously when it was posted on WHSmiths and it's crazy, but the bubble solution doesn't last that long!

well- saw on nina neuron (cbbc show) how to make proper bubble mixture- its water, fairy liquid and sugar (sugar to thicken solution) works wonders in our house! hope that helps

ohh thanks for the hint on bubble mix containing sugar, i've never heard that before but am always willing to try new things. Hope it works. My 4 children love bubbles &we are another family who got the deal at whsmith when it was cheap lol. Good find tho OP.

just going to order one thanx people sometimes usethem to entertain dogs aswell as they love chasing the bubbles it can help if your dog gets bored easily or is a pup

Sounds good - ordered it for my kids birthday party at the weekend. I found a lot of reviews for it on the us site that says they break very easily - apparently the fluid leaks into the battery compartment so make sure you drain it and clean it out after using it.

I got this for my youngest ( 8 ) at Christmas.
We only opened it yesterday.
She loves it, it's great.
Not quite 4000 a minute but very impressive.
