I know its not a DS/PSP, but the GBA SP is still a great handheld, that is still used by lots of people (my kids both have one). IMO this console is much better than the Gameboy Micro, as it offers backwards compatibility and the clamshell design means that the screen stays protected when it is shut.

This seems a great price for someone wanting to pick up a cheap first handheld, and there are literally hundreds of great games available from the GB/GBA back catalogues..............

Price after Quidco is about £29 - for a limited edition SP & Mario game - nice!

If you can get your basket to over £30, then you can also use the £3 off voucher - feboffer

FYI - Quidco should be 3% as it is hardware, still a damn good deal! Ordered

If you're looking to sell these on for profit then please be aware that they could be old stock thats been sitting in their stores for a while & will be looking pretty haggard box wise, so selling them as 'new' may be a little difficult.

IIRC there were two versions of the SP released, the latter version had a better backlight than it's predecessor. Does anyone have any idea which this is?

Perfect timing! My GBA Micro died on Sunday night and I didn't want to have to fork out for a DS :-D

There was two, most of the others went for around the £30 mark.

If I remember rightly, the classic Nes range of gameboys would be the later version with the better backlight..but I can't confirm 100%

Good price, but its worth being aware that you'll be unable to buy anything new for it on the high street and even the second-hand market is looking a bit ropey uness you are looking online... most stores cleared out Gameboy stuff around September last year.
#14
Make sure you add one of these: link
And then use the voucher: feboffer
Then you get it for £27.98 before quidco/gamepoints!
Should work out about £24.50!

Good. It saves people getting ripped off. I've never understood why people pay a premium for a second hand games from highstreet shops over the ebay/amazon market place price. But I guess not everyone is a bargain hunter like me.

Does this SP have the better light?

Micro has the better light

Micro has the better light

They released a better light SP at the same time. I'm not sure if it was for a limited time, or Nintendo decided to keep them like that.
