Just saw this - cant find it posted before but bargain imo even if it is pink

Daniel

This year think pink - with the new Game Boy Advance SP Pink Edition. It's the world famous handheld console, but now in a new, lush, pink colour that's bound to make your cheeks turn rosy with joy.

It has the same great characteristics as all Game Boy Advance SP systems: a front-lit, flip-top screen; sleek compact size; powerful 32-bit processor and over 10 hours of continous play on its rechargeable battery (or 18 hours, if you turn the light off).

With access to an existing game library of hundreds, and new games arriving all the time, you'll always have access to first class gameplay on the go. So pick up the Game Boy Advance SP Pink Edition - you'll be tickled pink by it.

This is out of date.. sorry.. not many people would want it with the DS out now
#2
My DS beats this by a mile, also it plays GBA games anyway
But still a good price tho i suppose :)
#3
Hot, despite it being pink.

Anyone a gamestation money off code?:whistling:

Got one of these a good while ago but still only have 1 game (GTA).

Any ideas of where have a good selection a silly prices? If the games are cheap enough then this is hot... If they ain't... This ain't either!

PS... Mines not pink!

Definitley Hot, although I already own one. The DS may be able to play GBA games, but it can't play original Gameboy games. There are many excellent GB games that are worth picking up.

My advice is pick this up and get some original Gameboy games, they can all be picked up cheap (my gamestation does the 2 for £3). Games you should play:
Tetris and Tetris DX, Mario Bros DX, Zelda DX, the Pokemon games, Donkey Kong, Super Mario Land.

While alot of the games were poor conversions that can be played elsewhere, some were designed specifically with the GB in mind and benefitted from it. IMO you won't play a better version of Tetris than the GB original.

Why do you even bother posting - everything you type is crapola - criticise everything -- why use the site

I dont see you contributing anything decent

Unfortunately all the good gba games are expensive
My favs are
Fire Emblem 1
Advance wars 1
Pkmn Fire red
Pkmn Sapphire
Any super mario games

But getting these genuine boxed with manuals you will be looking at about £15-20 each

My favourite GB game has definitely got to be Super Mario Land 2 : 6 Golden Coins.....

although the Micro can't play Gameboy games, so you're cutting your choice of games down considerably. Plus the things are too damn small with no screen protector :(

lmao i forgot these existed.
this was when intendo decided o be douche bags and release a new kind of Game boy advance like every month lol.
#15
can't believe they aren't giving these away for free by now.. not that hot
#16
Definitely a bargain, my kids love these consoles.

I have no problems with my Micro, despite my large hands. The Micros's screen is smaller than the SP, but it's much clearer with a better light. It also doesn't need a screen protector since the fascia's are replaceable. Scratch the existing one and you simply buy a pack of 4 replacements from the pound shop (yes, for a pound).

Nice price Dan - good spot - I suggest you ignore the fools who don't understand their gaming history!

In game I got three for 3.99 each. One looks very used but the other two look brand new. They don't really advertise it but they had a few. Just need to find some pokemon games.....

Good price, thanks Dandoc2 :)

Good deal! I bought the Mario Limited Edition model (£26 from GAME) a few months ago. I didn't buy the SP to play my vast collection of GBA games, that's what my GB Micro is for. I bought the SP so I could play Game Boy and Game Boy Colour games. Neither the DS or Micro have GB/GBC backwards compatibility.

Bottom line - If you want to play GB/GBC games, buy the SP.

the ds might beat it but not all people can afford a ds and my kids have one of these each and they love them. voted hot.

This is definitely worth it, my friend has a collection of every colour handheld console and says it's definitely going to be worth crazy money in the future with a complete set.

The original gameboy was excellent and I have a lot of fond memories, especially of Mario land, Tetris, TMNT and loads more.

The bottom line is whether you can be entertained by this product and is it a fair price considering the games available - of course it's a fair price. Someone somewhere who is on a budget would love this, and some child will be thrilled to bits at owning this quality product. I don't understand the mentality of just saying something is better without justifying the value of it. You might as well say "what's the point of buying a Mondeo when for a little more you could by a Porsche". In other words, it's a value product and bargain for someone. Voted hot.

I own a gba micro and its gets more use than my ds because its easy to use and has awesome games
