Nothing new about this deal. Anyone think it's hot? I doubt it.

So, several places have reduced these to 10/12p over the last few months, so what - it's still a good price. HUKD allows reposts after a month, and this is the *only* lightbulb post within the last 30 days... http://www.hotukdeals.com/search?action=search&keywords=lightbulb&category=0&type=1&date_range=30&sort_type=relevancy

Voted hot OP.

Oh, and spakker - you have a cheek saying this. You posted '3 for £1' on Asda own brand fizzy pop - hardly a hot deal either, by your own standards, as there's nothing new about that deal which is on virtually year-round. Also, it's been a month so perhaps someone should repost.

Generally agree but these are great for lamps or in the case of my room where I have a 3x wall hanging so 3 low rated bulbs is actually just great.

Remarkable. The hot, cold, spam and expire buttons are all provided as options to substitute for your gob. Use one and hush.

Jesus.

Are you blaspheming?

i picked 4 up today only to realise when home i was charged 40p each.

It is almost impossible to predict what the cost is going to be, what with folks mixing the bulbs up all over the shelves.

Tip - try Homebase, they have great 2 packs for 49p (all sizes!)

Tesco are selling 660 lumen sticks for 10p
they also have 1200 lumen sticks at 10p
I bought some yesterday

Your watt comparisons are not accurate/misleading.

I thought 20W cfl = 100W incandescent
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compact_fluorescent_lamp
A tesco 20W we have says similar to 100w, an oasis? brand says 20W =100W

And your point is?
The graph on the wikipedia site shows that a 55Wincandescent lamp would give approx. 660 lumens confirming what the OP stated.
