Designed to look like an iPod remote control, the Gear4 BlueEye is a Bluetooth dongle with a difference. This clever accessory lets you answer your mobile phone whilst listening to your iPod. This saves you fumbling in your pocket for the phone, scrambling to remove your headphones - only to discover that youve now missed the call anyway!
Usefully, the callers number is displayed on your iPod screen and your music will automatically pause allowing you to receive your phone call and resume when youre finished. Theres also an FM radio; where you can preset up to 15 of your favourite stations, and a clip to attach BlueEye to your clothing. No need for batteries, but you will need a Bluetooth enabled mobile phone.

That's a great price, I spent a lot of time looking for one and never saw a price like this from a retailer.

As this uses the dock connector it also bypasses the volume limiter which they introduced on the European iPod Classic.

I have to admit I decided not to buy one in the end as I eventually found an independent review that reckoned it's very slightly detrimental to the sound quality of the iPod. As i'm using Shure 530 earphones I didn't want this intrusion - Voted hot all the same.
