i've had one of these and they're crap even at that price. if you're absolutely desperate for a smart watch and don't want to fork out for one then go for it, but you'd be better off getting a second hand pebble - they'll be good for the rest of this year at a bare minimum and may well work beyond that if they can successfully move the development and support for them into the online community.

"Cheapest smart watch I could find"

Does that make it a hot deal?
I could use a turd as a paperweight - it would be cheap but would that be a good deal?

Not these again! I was contemplating one of these a year ago but the huge amount of negative comments put me off. I ended up buying a used Pebble Steel for £30 - it's a tidy looking watch with a good battery life and does all I need. No, it's not under £7 but it works. Well.

The OP is only trying to help and I'm sure people will have their own understanding of how good they can expect a £7 smartwatch to be.

We only have two wrists, why would we want a crap watch to occupy one? :)

these watches are absolutely awful, you they offer biting, they are hard to use, awful looking, I'd rather not wear a watch if it is this bad. waste of money

Great price, it won't be a good device in any real way but for a bit of fun it might fill a gap.

There's also this consideration of these cheap watch brands as this has been observed in a few different models not just the U8 model so worth doing your research to see if you feel it's something you're comfortable with.

I've got one and it's fine for answering phone calls when I'm driving.
