Gears of war 4 is currently £40 in Tesco however I just went in-store (Tesco Extra - Cleveland) and they had £10 off if you buy a valid currency card.

The £10 one didn't work although the £15 one did.

This means you get GOW 4 and a £15 Microsoft card for £45!!!

Considering GOW 4 is £40 on it's own, £5 for a £15 credit is excellent!

If you don't want it, you could always sell it online for at least £10 :)

I meant sell the credit....
The point was that you get Gears of war cheaper :)
Even if you sell the £15 credit for £10, you are still saving on the full price of Gears of war by £5 :)

This is especially beneficial for those who use xbox marketplace anyway.

But if you did that then you'd be paying £35 for £15 worth of credit.

Do you know if this offer was on any other games? (Forza Horizon 3 specifically)

Hi, it was a specific Gears of war 4 stand unfortunately (probably due to it being released today)

Hi, this was in-store as mentioned above.
Maybe try your local Tesco :)

I went into Tesco at midnight to buy it and this wasn't there, got to love Tesco and their inconsistency.

they will have had the game but they only put them on the shelf in the morning, unless u have a member of staff who knows to put the boxes out ... which most of them won't. You could have just asked a night staff person to get it for you

I went to Tesco in Basingstoke. There was no graphic out but I had faith in the HUKD community and went to the till anyway. It worked! £45 for a £15 Microsoft card and the game. To make it even better I had a £3 off if I spent £30 on Tesco groceries and that worked as well so it was only £42. Hot hot hot.

I bought two mafia games from sainsburys for 39.99 but with 18 off 60 grocery spend online voucher. I swapped it for GOW 4. no issues.

unsure if websites updated with GOW but I ordered two nights ago

worked out £62 for mafia and GOW. Both games had extra DLC and GOW had all the old games free

I'm tempted to ring them up and see if it is possible to receive a coupon for the difference

Just been to get this. My local Tesco only has £25 cards.

BUMMER!

Was lucky to have a £4 off a £40 coupon so £41 for GOW4 + £15 xbox credit. Now to sell the GOW1-3+Judgement codes to hopefully make it even cheaper.

Where you get gears 1 to 3 and judgement codes from ? when you bought from tesco ?

Just picked this up from Chesterfield. Sadly no £15 cards there, and the offer wasn't valid with a £10. Still, a good deal with £25 if you need the credit.

So what are the start weapons like (pistol, rifle, shotgun) compared to Gears 3?

It came on a download card with code for each game in it inside the game case with some GOW stickers.

Sold my 4 codes on eBay for 6 quid (owned them already) effectively making the game £24. Chuffed with that.

Anyone know what counts as a qualifying card?

Is it only XBox credit/Live cards?
#32
can the credit be used to buy an Xbox live subscription? and how many months would £15 get me?

One of the cards you can get the deal with is the XBL 3 month card. It's £15. Can get much cheaper XBL memberships elsewhere though.

thats disappointing. Can I buy a downloadable game without having Xbox Live Gold? Or do I need to buy Live Gold first before they let me give them more money for their games?

Heat Added! (_;).....

Long story short. There were no £15 Xbox gift cards, grabbed a £25 gift card, scrambled down to the customer service desk, showed the bird this advert. She checks her screen, scans Gears and the £25 gift card and she managed to scan them both through for £45 still.... To my benefit, I'm not sure she was the brightest spark, bless hahaha.

EDIT: Got this from Prestatyn Tesco
