#2
i bought three and they're all awful. don't waste your money.

doesnt work- tried them on my sister and it was gloopy and a mess and washed off down the sink (no nail varnish remover needed)

The great thing about this is it dries so quickly. It is a bit of a faff following instructions to the letter but it looks nice on.

The bad thing about this is it chips. Really badly. Worse than any other nail varnish I've ever tried! If they could sort that out, I would buy this brand of varnish forever!

I read reviews on Makeupalley etc, saying that they couldn't get it to dry, but I had no problems with application. It just doesn't last, sadly. How annoyed would you be if you paid full wack at Boots (£14.99) for this! http://www.boots.com/en/Nutra-Nail-Gel-Perfect-5-Minute-Gel-Colour-Manicure-dahlia-set_1389504/

bought two of these last week. found them quite messy to apply and it chipped and came off within hours. would not pay full price

£1.49 in b&m...

I brought one of these, it chipped and cracked within hours and was aweful to get off. I would avoid!!

I've used these before and have found they are just as good as gel polish. I didnt have problems with application and chipping. Mine lasts usually for over a week and when i remove its just as simple as removing gel polish! I suppose with most nail varnishs they suit some people better than others. I know I use nails inc polish that lasts a few days but on others it chips within a day, so it might suit some better than others.

This has been posted before and these things are terrible. The "activator" is simply like a nail glue, its chips after a day and ruins your nails underneath. There's a reason they're in the pound shop...

I do gel nails quite regularly as I have my own UV lamp. Maybe you have a different method of applying?

There's no way, for me, this compares to the hard coating you get with "real" gel nails. Taking this off was actually really easy, as it chips so easily. I follow the instructions as stated and have had no joy as far as longevity is concerned.

Your mileage may vary, I guess, but it's a shame as I love the fact it dries so quickly, and it does look nice when it's intact.

To be honest

When I think of innovation, new technologies and cutting edge products

I don't have poundworld in my thoughts.

For that reason...

A friend of mine says she does it nail by nail, rather than each hand at a time, so might give that a go.

You said it yourself, it chips within a day... you might as well skip all the fuss and just use the nail polish on its own? I've uses this myself and ive seen a million and one reviews saying how terrible this product is, you're the first to claim it's decent :S

Honestly if you have your own uv lamp etc, I wouldn't bother at all. I wouldn't take the effort to comment if this wasn't truly a bad product, its a waste of time and effort. Its poop ha.

does no one read the comments anymore? I was really excited when this worked for me but my nails are now disgustingly in bad condition. lasted only a day. why is this hot?!

Great idea, poorly executed haha...I do wonder how this no- UV lamp varnish got past Quality Control, and who they tested it on!!

I didnt say it chips on me within a day, I said some nail varnish lasts different on different people. On one person it could last a day on another person it could last a week. On me this nail varnish lasted a week. So I like it....I do find on here alot of people will only comment when they have something negative to say where I like to post positive comments. This product is a bargain at £1 where some have paid £15 in boots.

It's worth a try for £1, you're just making people aware you could try it for £1 rather than £15, that's helpful in my opinion!

Thank you thats exactly what I think too. People take the time to add deals thinking the may be useful for someone, but some people just like to be negative. if they dont like it I don't see the point in commenting.
