As people who suffer with Celiac's or have a wheat or gluten allergy know, finding decent bread is not easy. This is by far the best Gluten Free, Wheat Free bread Iv'e tried so far! Its nice and soft and great for sandwiches or toast. It stays nice and fresh for days unlike others Iv'e tried which turns rock solid in a day or two.

They had the white loaf and the brown with seeds in my local store at half price.

Brilliant news! Both that it is half price and that there is an alternative to Tesco. As masai says, this is by far the best wheat free bread available in the shops.

There is a book by Lucinda Bruce-Gardyne, the creator of Genius, ( http://www.geniusglutenfree.com/about-genius/about-lucinda/ ) which includes a bread recipe which I have found to be the best for home baking.

These are sliced loafs, which is different to the Tesco ones. Not sure if that makes much diff though. Still the same bread after all.
My partner is a Coeliac and this is the only bread she eats, its very good for gluten free.

Not a "hotukdeal" but I note that Genius is now available from Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys & Waitrose. Hope this info is useful to some. (Until recently, Tesco had the exclusive rights to sell Genius).

does anyone know if this will be available on prescription for kids with coeliac?

Thanks for that, it comes up when you search for it like you say, but I could not find it when browsing by category. I have also put the right price up as £1.44 not £1.24 as I thought it was. Still a great loaf for the full asking price IMO.

awesome. if it tastes ok and the price is right then non-coeliac people could buy it and help subsidise the cost for others!
