It staggers me that people still buy these. Awful sound quality, not particularly comfy, they fall apart...

Agreed. You could probably better these at Poundland... :whistling:
#6
probably the worst earphones ever. no bass, uncomfortable, and not at all practical for running in/using at the gym. only reason to use is if its the iphone ones with the mic and even then thats just for car handsfree use.
#7
They are actually god earphones the problem is with all headphones of this manner is that they dont form a sal around your ear canal, if you press these into your ear and hold them there you get all the bass etc. But as they are yeh they are as crap as poundland ones. I think its also to do with peoples ears clearly many people have no problems with them I though can use them without them falling out.

agreed, if you dont want to spend much on earphones, go for the cx300's or maybe the j jays now they've lowered the price

Great find! Heat added.

These headphones work a lot better if you can find foam pads to put on them, they'll make for a better seal with the ear.
#10
Cheers just ordered two pairs, I go through pairs of these quite a lot, I use them for when I go out and don't want to wear my big bulky headphones, handy but flimsy and not the most comfortable things.

Anyway here is to hoping that these are the pairs with a remote built in, my thoughts are that they aren't, but I can live with that.

Absolutely, why are people spending money on these? They are completely useless!

they still produce bad quality sound and you end up having to turn up the volume to actually hear the music. Invest in some good in ear headphones or go for the yuin pk3 if you want to stick to earbuds.

so why dont you spend £15 on a pair of cx300's instead of buying a bulk load of apple earphones which break all the time and damage your ears?
#14
a good deal for ipod headphones, but a pretty poor deal for headphones in general
#15
i only like the ipod headphones with the mic/volume control and playback functions, if only they were in black that would be cool, dont buy the cheap knockoffs on ebay or any other web sites, only buy official ones, theres always a good deal on, john lewis has apple headphones with mic for £13.

Nonsense. How do you explain then the pure brilliance of the Yuin range? All earbud models, but with sound to better most top of the range IEMs and still able to cut out a considerable amount of outside noise.

The Ipod earphones are just rubbish and anyone still listening to their Ipod with them is an idiot and anyone who goes out to buy a second pair is an even bigger idiot.
#17
Why would anyone still buy these?

cos it must depend on your ears. i think they sound a shedload better than the crap senheiser cx300II with annoying massive right angle jack, the fact you have to force them into your ears to get and effect of bass or stability and the treble is so bright it gives me a headache. give me these any day, thaqy stay in my ears while running, gym etc and sound balanced dont distort. no they dont last forever but maybe thats cos i use em for jobs like the gym n running and hanging one ear out while im at work etc. im buying some! i was thinking about it at normal price cos i think they sound better with ipod than other phones ive tried in the same price class.

Since I put it on here, they've sold loads of 'em.
People still voting cold as well

I think it must be peoples ears some people have non inner ear compatible ears and some don't. those Yuin must effectively form a seal by the rubber or something. Have you tried doing what I have said? just press and hold them in forming a seal and you will hear how good they really are, its shame they only have to put a rubber thing like Sony does on these (these are the ones I use):

note if you own a pair that don't work any more go into any Apple store and show them your pair explaining they're not working. 9 times out of 10 they'll replace them for free.
#25
Crap earphones, overpriced even at £5.
#26
The sound quality and build quality is abysmal on these headphones. Mine got lashed as soon as I got my new ipod
#27
Horrible headphones, the Apple logo could be used to sell excrement at £876 a kilogram and people would buy it. So many stupid people aaaah
#28
WoW.. I didnt think the apple haters would go down up to the earphones.. I think 5£ for a original is a great price.
#29
Im not an apple hater as I bought an Ipod. When I first bought it I nearly returned it cos the sound quality was terrible. Luckily I tried a £18 pair of headphones I bought off Amazon and it sounded sooooooooo good.

I really was shocked at how poor these headphones were. The difference in sound quality bewteen these and my other headphones wasnt just marginal, it was immense.

they will be ok, I personally use these

...they 3 times the price of the Ipod ones but will give u much better sound and keep the sound in a lot better which will give louder music anyway
#31
hot, order 2 to replace the old one
#32
Ipod great, itunes and these apple headphones, not to my liking at all.
#33
Wow genuine rubbish earphones, what a deal! Think I will stick with my memory foam ones though
#34
Hot! Good deal.

Ordered 2.

Can't go wrong with Apple Headphones.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
#35
I'm shocked that people would pay 5 quid for these. They're terrible.
#36
I feel bad for anyone who hasn't tried a slightly more expensive pair and realised how pap these really are.
Nice deal I guess tho!
#37
Didnt think we could post deals from Ebay other than deal of the day?????
#38
lol they aren't the official ones, they are just cheap knock offs from china.

these ones should be genuine as part of argos, ones off amazon posted are fake though
i quite liked the way these fit my ears and the sound quality was decent enough imo - possibly due to the fit.
i wont wear the silicon bendy ones like cx-300 as they freak me out lol. (got sony ones - sound fantastic but ewww feeling with them, especially when moving)

I love these earphones. They're SO comfy and fit my ears like a glove and never fall out.

Can't stand the in-ear type they feel terribly instrusive, you can hear them wobbling when you walk and they constantly fall out.

I actually prefer to hear a bit of outside noise when wearing earphones. At home I use Goldring headphones which block everthing else out but I tend to be outside when wearing earphones so it's safer to hear a bit of traffic noise and when at work in the office I'm still able to hear the phone go whilst listening to my tunes.

You can't go far wrong for a fiver and the build quality is adequate enough as long as you don't tred on them!

HOT for me.
