Yes in theory and PO charge, VAT and no real guarantee.
DealExtreme are OK for cheap items as the build quality it not very good, but I would not risk that much money.

£59 for a refurbished FIRST generation Zune that was released 3.5 years ago, that only has 12 hours total battery life audio or 3.5 hours video, that was manufactured by Toshiba and rebranded.

That doesn't come with its original accessories, that is also subject to customs taxation.

Terrible deal, may as well just buy yourself a second hand Creative Vision M 30GB or ipod Classic 30GB off Ebay, save yourself the trouble of dealing with Deal Extreme and the custom charges involved.

Or if you really want a Zune, save your £59 for the Zune HD which technically is superior to the iPod touch. If of course you can get one smuggled outside of the US.

what size is screen ...?

According to the title it's 3' (about 93cm), but I suspect it's only 3"

Why? Because it is an apple product? I love my ipod touch and Macbook Pro, but when it comes to this vs the "classic" ipod, the Zune wins hands-down. You get a large colour screen, album art that covers the whole screen, a user interface that oozes ease of use and quality and a superb build quality. Video also looks exceptional on this.

The only downside is the size as it is a bit bulky.

Also, as regards DX, they rarely describe knock-offs as "genuine" because they aren't stupid. These are probably refurbs due to the non-zune accessories.

IMO a superb deal for an amazing (and underrated) MP3 player

Was the 1st gen Zune not actually a Toshiba Gigabeat? I owned one and aside from its size, it was a bloody nice player!

Yup, a rebaged gigabeat with far better software.

I got one of these from the states when it came out, realy good audio and a nice interfeace, far better (except twice the size!) than the ipod video of the time.

Wouldn't pay £59 plus for one now unless it was boxed and mint as a collectors item.

I bought a 1st gen iPod Tocuh second hand in mint condition for £60 yesterday! Far nicer and more utility, even if you do have to put up with iTunes.

Bought one of these new in the US last November. I couldn't get the battery to take any charge, so took it back.
Also bought a refurb 4GB 1st gen, which was fine.
So, buying a really old model new (ie unused) may not be the best idea if you have no warranty to fall back on.
