there are alot of fakes out there of this model of earphones, these ones are guaranteed to be the real thing and are quite good at 15.99 delivered, if anyone has owned a pair of these like me they will know how great these little things are.
banned#2
Agreed. These are the first affordable earphones which I have tried and liked. Good price too.
#3
aren't these the same as the creative ones you can pick up for £7 odd or have I got my wires crossed?

completly different company and headphones, the cx300 are def a step in the right direction from standard headphones that come with your mp3 player. My only gripe is that they do feel quite flimsy at times, and mine only lasted 8 months before breaking, now on a pair of shures se110 that i got from play using the voucher code, highly recommended, but these would do until another shure deal comes along
#5
Would they be any good for running.?
hear that need sport ones (over the ear).?

Brilliant headphones and a good price.

Are these the ones with a short cable to one ear? If so I have them and the short cable is really annoying. But they sound great.

You get quite a bit of noise from the cable knocking around, so probably not great for running.

On my 2nd pair of these earphones now (1st pair's cable became frayed after abotu a year), cracking sound quality for the price!
#15
Was gonna get some of these but took the Stuff magazine subscription for the Goldline earphones - worth £50.

I'd seriously recommend getting the goldline's if you have the money as they are amazing - Ive never listened to my iPod so much! :)

Actually they are the same headphones, they come from the same OEM, but they just have a different logo, a Y-cord as opposed to J and straight rather than bent connector/jack.

Cold from me, since you might as well get the Creative EP-630s for less than half the price, which I actually prefer since I can't stand J-cords, but are otherwise the same. (This coming from someone who has went through two pairs of CX 300s before trying the EP-630s)

Official quote from Sennheiser:

Further, our official statement on OEM goods regarding the CX300 and other similar looking items is stated below:

"The CX 300 ear canal headphones are manufactured by a Sennheiser production partner in Asia. Since Sennheiser does not own the exclusive design rights for this product, it is up to this or other OEM manufacturer(s) to sell the same or similar products to other companies (like Creative, for example). However, only the CX 300 is compliant with the Sennheiser quality standards, as only this product is continously checked by Sennheiser employees on site."

There will be a little noise from the cable as the other poster said. Also they do a pretty good job of blocking out all exterior sounds so unless you are running somewhere totally safe I wouldn't recommend them. I've used PX100's with a headband to keep them in place. They are open back so you can hear cars etc.

not sure if i am missing something but it looks to me like you can buy the same headphones (CX300 Black) without the recylcable packaging for £6.95 plus P+P at

http://www.amazon.co.uk/High-Quality-Stereo-Ear-Canal-Headphones/dp/B000E6G9RI/ref=pd_cp_ce_1?pf_rd_p=136153791&pf_rd_s=center-41&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000S8EUNM&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=00ZD1APQT0Z5JH9Z4QQH

Therefore i would call this cold?? happy to be corrected if i am wrong.......

These aren't from Amazon, but from one of their marketplace sellers. No idea if they are genuine or not, but for that price I'd guess they weren't.
#23
I'm liking the sound of the Creative EP-630's if they're half price of these Sennheiser, I'll buy two :-)
#24
i got a pair...clean and clear audio, however the bass isn't that "thumpy" as my KOSS ones.
#25
Personally I'd say these Sony ones are better: http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/3317643/Sony-MDR-EX85-In-Ear-Headphones/Product.html and only £14.99 (or £13.99 for white).

I have the EX82s which were supplied with my Sony NWZA818 and they are superb headphones, fantastic bass.
#26
These are great but keep hold of the recipts as they do some to die easily. Mine just lost volume in one ear and I meant to send them back, since then the other ear has gone and I think they are out of warranty. The sound SO good though and I would have happily paid the old price of £32 for them :-)

Oh and don't buy cheaper ones from eBay or the Amazon sellers, if they are cheaper than this there is a HUGE chance they are fake.
#27
I would mention that when buying from amazon market place, you can be susceptible to cheap clones. Have a look at the reviews.

Although if you buy through Amazon, like this, you should be covered. :)

Sorry - my bad. GOLDRING is what I meant to say.

With the comply tips on, they shape themselves to your ear, and I can hardly tell they're on! Great for people with funny shaped ears like me

This

Why pay twice the price for the same headphones?
#30
Great headphones.. Good bass, and comfortable to wear.
#31
DAMN are these thing STILL £15????

I paid £15 for these over 2 years ago!
#32
These are great headphones, I use them with my portable CD player, MP3 player, PSP and DS because of the superb sound quality, especially the bass.

I paid the same price back in February this year and I would definitely recommend them!
#33
Bought these for my wife a couple of a weeks ago at £17.99 from amazon. She loves them!

Re: Creative EP-630s and Sennheiser CX300s

jemo
completly different company and headphones

Well they are different companies, but the Creative EP-630s are clearly clones of the CX300s.

And whilst there are some differences, even ignoring the price differences between the EP-630s and the CX300s, I prefer the EP-630s (I have both these and the CX300s, and I'm not talking about fakes...)

Creative EP-630s are a steal at around £7, especially in comparison to CX300s at £15.99.
