I don't know why the votes are cold, it always happens when a deal is new though. Complaining usually results in it being voted colder.

I don't know what the current cheapest prices are elsewhere, but I don't think it would be hard to find a Wiimote and Nunchuck combination for near on £37.

I got some from dealextreme around christmas, as did a lot of people, but the price is higher now than it was then.

You can't put direct links, in the opening post for DX.

even if you get hit with import duty that would still only be about £6.60 which would still be cheaper than you can get them here!!

And the Royal mail handling fee which is about £12 making total £56!

nunchuk - pc world - £12.99

wii play (includes wiimote) - £30 then sell wii play for £15 on ebay

total cost for both about £28! :-D

You forgot the possible handling fee which will be £8 on top.

You can get both for £41.46 from dvd.co.uk +4% Quidco, making it £39.80

Sorry, I mistook your Question mark/Exclamation mark, and Double question mark combination in your 1st reply as a complaint.

I haven't voted myself, but you are not doing yourself any favours. :)

wii play is NOT wii sports

regularly sells for £15+ on ebay. Sold my copy on there for £22 meaning I paid £7 for the wiimote :-D

I'm another who got the set from here before Christmas when you couldn't get them anywhere for love nor money locally. They dropped through the door (or did the postie chap I can't remember), and I had no more to pay and saved a fortune compared to what was being charged on ebay and such like and even in the shops when they were there.

So I'd say go for it.... my neighbours son did just after me and his arrived safe and sound too with nothing extra to pay either and we live in different towns. Me Dundee, him Aberdeen.

Edit - Heat added as I had no problems getting mine from here.

I agree with most people here, not that great a deal as for a start DE can be abit iffy, people get entire batches that are damaged or just dont work sometimes and returning something is a massive pain believe me. Also you will most likely get the charges previously explained in this discussion. Just buy one from ebay, we did and it worked out ALOT cheaper than any other method.

I got one a few months ago from dealxtreme. It did take a while for it to arrive (about a week) but I didnt get charged any VAT or import duty. The only issue is the packaging in is Japanese but im not bothered about that.
