Jump to unread Post a CommentI rang to complain 27th August and asked them to honour the voucher as it was their error........very unhelpful......claimed they would not, I asked to whom should I complain and I was told she was the same department.....pretty pointless complaining to her then!!!
As a result I asked for a full refund as not happy with the service and as this was my 1st order with 'George' due to the poor customer service would probably be my last!
Just let this be a warning to you all.......I was always under the impression that Asda provided good customer service, I hope you receive better service than I have!!!! oO

That's a pity millcat. I've ordered loads of stuff from them in the past (mainly t-shirts) and the service has always been good and efficient. Sad you had a bad experience.

Thanks for the original post anyway.........I think I'm more annoyed at their poor excuse for customer service/complaints department than anything. At no point did she explain their systems do not update quick enough to avoid such issues, no apology, no compromise, just pure bad attitude.....perhaps she resented working on a bank holiday. This reminds me of issues people have with Tesco and the slow stock updates they burden their customers with. Online shopping is brilliant when it works but I think these big boys have much to learn when it comes to customer service & rectifying problems on their part!!
Cheers!
everything on asda website is basically out of stock, i now for a fact they run the item down, then put a sale on, and then they have very few of the sale item, and then it sells out fast... so mur online, and in the shop not much better :(

This is disgraceful. It's a shame a company as big as ASDA is being so badly let down by their online customer services. I had a bad experience too because they only deducted £4.50 instead of £5 because it came off the price of the highest value item, which was only £4.50. They gave me a £1 evoucher but that didn't work and I had to make a second phone call, and they are near clueless and toothless.

Good Customer Service at ASDA? I have sent 4 emails to ASDA customer services and have not had a single reply.
The staff are very nice in the stores, but online they are, while I don't know as I have never had the chance to talk to them.
