Tbh this is a good deal, i have a george foreman of similar size and its such an **** to clean due to the plates are non removable.

I have gone for this for this reason only.

The grill machines are really good and remove most of the fat present in burgers and the like and it is really a lot faster than using the grill in a cooker.

The fact this is a base model and does not have control of heat or time is not really an issue, these things cook skinny burgers in 3mins and fattys in 5 :)

I feel really healthy after using this device ;-)

Seems to be around £70 ellsewhere, rip off at that price.

465cm grilling surface? whats that in laymans terms?

Nice one OP!! Seems a really good price I've been wanting to try one of these out for some time now after hearing all the reviews, can't go wrong for this price either!

Heat and rep are coming your way....

I bought this last year when Amazon listed at this price.

I use it fortnightly, an awesome deal.

It can do a well done steak in 6-7 minutes.

Eh? There's 3 reviews.. all positive.

Also from experience of having a George Foreman grill, they are superb! Ours is at the end of its life, and we need a new one - so well spotted OP.

Quick question though, how do people clean theirs? Just soap/hot water? I guess ours has built up too much grease over the years, as its a ****** to clean now - and the food sticks to it once you do!

Anyway, HOT.

Good Deal, but I picked up the GEORGE FOREMAN 12205 which is twice the size from Tesco a while back for £49.97 which I'd say for the family is a must. I've Just checked stock availability and unfortunately they are out of stock at the moment, but considering they are retailing on Amazon at £124.95 Id say this is an absolute cracking deal when available. Just a heads up for anyone who has a family.

Nice one, been looking to replace our old one as it broke.
It was a PITA to clean though, so this is perfect.

Voted hot.

I bought an Anthony Worrall Thomson ( by Breville ) one about 5 years ago with removable plates which can be put in the dishwasher, so it's about time George Foreman grills caught up.

They've been on sale for a long time.
the site is about deals, not new releases.

To keep the non-removable plates clean I do the following - use an olive oil spray(like Fry Light) on the plates as I turn it on. I use a good quality paper towel in the drip tray to soak up most of the run off (so it can go in the green bin rather than down the plughole!) and then once I have turned the machine off and removed the food I carefully rub down the warm surfaces with another paper towel - obviously avoiding touching the still warm plates. Before 'discovering' this method my previous grill used to get undescribably bad and tough to clean - I now use it almost every day.

Thanks for that, I've about worn through the bottom plate of my old GF. Now I mostly line it with tinfoil (whch I used to do anyway with fish) so it can keep on going.

I missed this deal The current £104 price tag is not amazon themselves, but another merchant so it's just possible Amazon will have more stock themselves and relist - but maybe not at that price,

I managed to order one of these when the offer first started.

Moving into my first house in just under 6 weeks so stoking up on bargain applicances!

Cheers!

I bought this very same GF Grill when it was last posted on here at this price a few months back.
I've used it a lot more than i expected to... And its excellent for toasted cheese sarnies. Also the removable plates make this model the one to have.
One of the few kitchen gadgets i've bought that hasn't been stuffed to the back of the cupboard, never to be used again.
