Manufacturer's Description

The George Foreman 17873 grill lets you cook all your favourite food in a healthy way but in a fraction of the normal cooking time. By grilling from both the bottom and top simultaneously, food cooks over twice as fast, plus unwanted fat and grease is channelled away into the drip tray provided, for a much tastier and healthier bite. The size of the grill allows you to cook up to 5 portions of food making it the ideal grill if you are cooking for the whole family.

5 Portions?

If you look at the pics with the meat in it looks more like 2 portions.

Hot. I've got a similar model and it's quick to cook, easy to clean and healthy.
#3
my advice would be to spend a bit more and go for one with removal plates.
They're so much easier to clean.
#4
similar one in argos is 25, and its silver. so this is :) . saved a fiver and don't have to go argos (result), glad i didn't bother going there during the week. thanks op, charlie

Mine has that. Thought it was standard on all models. Ignore my comment about being easy to clean, I wouldn't bother buying unless the plates are removable.

hear hear - this is a good deal but i would suggest get removable plates and temperature alarm as this cooks/burns so quick
#8
Still easy enough to clean without the removable plates, just got to be careful on the upper half. How much more is it for removable?
#9
Are the ones with removable plates dishwasher friendly?
#10
Hot, I have this from an earlier deal & its easy to clean.
#11
I have a removable plate one, they are fine to go in the dishwasher. The only issue with them is that the transfer of heat is not as good as the fixed plate ones. :)
#12
Simple tip for cleaning, but I find using doubled up kitchen roll and quickly wiping the grease, etc away, straight after grilling (while the plates are still hot) to be effective and easy. Obviously you have to be careful not to grill yourself.
