George makes the worst clothes for kids but charge like Next.Their sales miserly and disorganised. You are better off when TU Saisnbury announce a sale.

How do they charge Next prices when a hoody for my son costs £7 at Asda yet £16+ at Next?

I disagree. I wouldn't say Asda clothes are bad quality at all and Next are way overpriced.

George, worst clothes - No

George sales -miserly - No ,plenty choice.
Sales disorganized - A bit but that's OK.
TU clothing - Is very dull and boring.

There is stuff in asda that you see copies of in next like 6 months. I got something for my daughter in asda then saw a copy of it in next a few months later. Asda quality is great iv never had anything bobble up or rip and if it did you do have that 100 days promise so you can return

George clothes worst: at my local store they are. Especially the mens and boys.
Charge like Next - I went into a next and a pair of boys jeans were the same. maybe not for all departments
George Sales miserly and disorganised. Its only on a few boys and mens items in my local store and most of the time on the crap they cant get off the shelves. After all the scavangers have had a look most of the stuff ends up on the floor. And this to at the entrance of the store where the "sale" happens.
TU clothing - is upto a matter of ones taste if you find it exciting. I find their sale much more reasonable as the 25% is on everything where as for George its on the tat they cant sell.

I agree with you that Next is overpriced but so is Asda even when the boys and mens clothing are on sale.

To be fair, I have noticed a few prices creeping up in Asda in the past 6 months but still the cheapest option of all the supermarkets in my opinion. I do like the odd TU item for my little girl but they can be quite pricey without the TU 25% discounts.

Bought a few bits and pieces..Thanks!

Yes thats right TU clothing without the 25% discount makes it priecy. But IMO when TU have a sale, it has it on all products and is more organised for boys and mens clothing. Whereas Asda do it on the tat they cant sell and its very messy.

Bought the hello kitty toddler bedding set for my baby daughter.... plus I got the £2 boys hoodies in all 3 diffent colours, and pack of 3 long sleeve tops for £2. Great for my 2 year old for nursery :)
#27
Does anyone know if this is instore as well?
banned#28
Bought a load of kids leggings and long sleeve tees, some socks and a jumper , thanks bebo83 for the heads up, have saved loads and stocked up :D
#29
Lovely, thanks OP, got some PJ bottoms for me, and some jumpers, hoodies & t-shirts for my boys. Had a £5 gift voucher on my account for some reason (think it was from when they couldn't honour an item), so only cost me £13 :D
Just hope the Xmas t-shirts arrive in time, the website banner says order before 7pm this evening for collection tomorrow, but it says after 5pm Xmas Eve on my order - might be cutting it fine!

Kids Star Wars tops so cheap!

Not much of interest for me. Been waiting for certain items to go in the sale for ages but they haven't. Roll on xmas eve reductions!

Just so you are aware the guy behind George is ex Next and they have a lot of the same suppliers. Very similar designs but George offers much better value. I've been shopping for my children at Next for 8 years and the quality continually goes down while prices rise! Plus Next customer services is atrocious compared with Asda Direct.
