Amazing find but it seems too good to be true?! Are DD ok to use?

I've never used them before, but they seem to be floating around a few forums.

I've added a pic and a direct link to your deal Little Ern :)

Seems too good to be true! What a great set that would be for Xmas - shame I just bought Captain Scarlet from HMV!

Drinkgirls is right the page that asks for your credit card details is not secure ie no padlock in your task bar and site should be https s for secure.

Are you sure? because the login/register page is https and properly secured? (I dont have an account or want this item...) check if the payment bit is in a table or something in which case that part might be secure but the page might have unsecure bits to it...

If a message pops up that says 'this page has insecure bits do you want to see them' (when you login it does) just say NO and then it should be secure the whole way through.

I bought the saint set from them last week-it was delivered 2 days after i ordered it!Only problem was that i didn't receive an e-mail from DDHE letting me know it was being dispatched-i was out on the day it was delivered!I was able to rearrange delivery with the courier service(citylink) who delivered it and it arrived last monday lunchtime.

Just rung their phone line and DDHE had a recorded message saying that their is high difficulties and try tomorrow morning but the offer ends tonight at midnight so the on;y option is via their website.

Is their website safe or should I go against ordering it on their site? Please help me. Also would it be better to use a credit card rather than a debit card because with credit cards you are covered for fraudulent cases.

Bit of a myth that your covered by your credit card, your only covered on items over £100 and that has to be the value of one item and not a total of all items

Well would you recommend ordering on the website or not?

Yep I ordered the saint boxsets and they came through ok, BTW the offer ends in 3 days 36 minutes and not at 12am tonight

Just got this set after ordering it last week. All seems to be fine. It's not a boxset, just a collection of separate discs (standard size cases). The cover inserts have both the Carlton and DD Home Entertainment logo on them so it looks like they're exclusive to DD.

I used my credit card to chargeback on DVDSoon orders that were below £100and it was sorted out within minutes. I was told by the operator that all transctions on a credit card are protected.
