no use dude.

People here don't know taiyo yudens. You could go on how it's the worlds best manufacturer of dvd and cd media, and £30 is a steal for all this, but it'll fall on deaf ears, who seem to only rate awful coaster-toast dvds because it's like £7 for 50 delivered.

Do yourself a favour HUKD members, educate yourself before voting cold next time you are unsure of what something is or means.

Thankyou and goodnight.

cheers for the reply, these really are the best discs you can buy, wont strain your laser on whatever your playing them back on, they have the best dye in them too.

these would cost me £43 for the lot from my normal place were i get my media, and thats going to pick them up, delivery would be extra on top

I can't remember the last time I burned a coaster (and I do a lot of burning), yet I tend to use cheaper media (not dirt cheap, but a damn site cheaper than these).

Rather than everyone else 'educating themselves' before voting cold, maybe you should open your eyes and see that you've been fooled into paying too much for blank media just because of the hype.

but they will save you money in the long run, wont kill the laser on your dvd player or whatever your playing them back on.

try finding them cheaper, they are that price for a reason, not just hype

I've NEVER had a failed laser on any drive, so exactly what benefit are we really going to see with these? Has anyone else here ever had a laser fail in a device they play back their burned DVD's on?

I'll stick to my Datawrite Mach4, which are half the price and have never caused me a problem (plus the added bonus of being 16x).

i actually have had things die in the past, 1 dvd player and 1 ps2 all dead lasers, took a while for them to go.

and im not saying your laser is defo gonna die, if your happy with the cheap discs thats fine, but people who know there stuff and normally buy this brand will know this is one great price

anyway not botherd if it gets voted cold its a bargain for those who buy them, ill leave it at that

These discs are grade A and cannot be compared to the TY's at double the price. They are not the same quality. While they are probably superior quality to other discs, in my use i had quite a high failure rate which i did not experience when using the media at twice the price. They have probably failed the quality control process, hence unbranded.

They are indeed the best, but your price is not good. I pay £37.99 for 200 at SVP and that is the standard price without any offers. OK postage goes on that but it is still considerably less than above.
