I needed a 1GB Sim card for my Mini Ipad and have found what I thought was a good deal:

EE - 1GB = £10.00 rolling contract

Then I found this: EE buy SIM and top up £15 and get 10GB free to be used over 90 days. This deal works out better (more data!) and cheaper.

Not sure if this continues every time you top up £15.00?

I don't think those kind of deals usually continue with topping up but great price for what you get when you do top up. I think the answer is to buy a few sims and once you've had your freebies and used any credit just activate another sim and start again lol.

Any allowance for minutes & texts bundled with that £10 rolling Ray?

*Cancel that, I see its just a Data sim only.

Doesn't this last for just 30 days not 90 ? Seems to say 30 if you follow the link. I'd buy if it was 90 !

OK now I see the 90 days thing when you put it in your basket - confusing page to say the least ! Hot from me and ordered.

The legal bit

10 GB free data

Join 4GEE PAYG to get 10GB of mobile internet for free. Offer available online subject to availability and while stocks last. All 4GEE Pay as you go SIM cards will come with an initial 50MB to get you started. Once you have used this data, your 10GB free data allowance will need to be activated to redeem this offer. You’ll then need to use this 10GB within 90 days of activating it, or lose it. To continue to use mobile internet once you’ve used up your free allowance, you will need to buy a new data add-on. UK only.

*This is an example of the combination of texts and minutes you can get with your top up credit. Create your own combination of data, minutes and texts with our great value add-ons.

The add-on blurb...

Once you have your 4G phone or SIM, it's easy to top up and pick your add-ons in the My EE app, via text, or by calling 150 free from your EE phone.

You can use your credit to make calls and send texts like good old-fashioned pay as you go, but to make your money go further it's best to buy an add-on.

Add-ons last for 30 days, so you've got the flexibility to change them if you need to.

4GEE Data add-ons
You can get 1GB for £10, but for just £5 more you can get 2GB of data on our new double speed 4GEE which goes up to 60Mb/sec. That's double data and speeds as fast as most people's fibre broadband at home for just £5 more.

Ive just had a text chat with them and they say the 90 days starts from inception ie it get pre activated but ive read here about the 50mb thing. Has anyone actually had the experience. I dont need this till my home broadband goes off on 1st august but then I dont want to miss the deal but 60 or so days if it activates now is no good to me. Are the radger gadgers talking nonsense or is it true.

scratch that. Rang back again pointed out the legal bit and they changed their story. EE are a right bunch of tellytubby radgers I can tell you. Can you tether with this?

So mine has turned up. Two interesting points 1. It says on the front of the packet 'Free 10GB of data valid for up to 90 days' - wonder what that 'up to' is about ?
Secondly the Delivery Note strangely says they have charged me £15 for the top up and £120 for the SIM - and payment has been received ! Checked my credit card and only £15 taken - phew !
Well full marks for the superfast 4Gee delivery - not so sure about the rest !

Dont bother is my comment. 4 hours of rangling on the phone. Ringing up sales and being transfered to some malasian radger before being transfered again to technical support. I believe that once you burn through the 50mb data the phone is supposed to come up with a splash screen which instructs you to select the data only their isnt anything to select. I suspect that because we used the data up beofre the shop put on the top up its somehow confused it. I m left with a promise by the technical in merthyr tydfil that hell put it on at 8 if it doesnt apear but I have my doubts. 35 minutes on hold longest yet. Stay away from this I mean how hard is it to put a free allowance on anyway.

So its next sunday the data is still not on. I believe we used the 50mb of data before the 15 gbp topup was put on by the shop. be wary of this as they cant do anything about it not even technical support. Hes got them to get the option to add the data put on my screen but its going to take 24 hours. weve been here before havent we. dah dah dah dah, dah dah dah dah, dah dah dah dah dah dah.

Have done my own now and it went straight thru. Have now been in the shop and they are aware of a small amount of sim cards with the data not being put on but all he did was ring up their call centre and they said theyd put it on but it never did
I suppose ill keep going in the shop till they get fed up of me. Btw you can tether and sip on these so very happy myself
I can use voip even though the sim card is empty of credit. My mates has 15 quid on it which is where the problem is the money never appeared on mine which went straight thru. I wounldnt buy one from a shop get it online.

i signed up with EE home broadband a few days ago. After threatening to cancel this they put the data on immediately. It shouldnt take threatening to remove 162 GBP worth of business to get them to play ball on 15. Still both done now.
Mine has no credit but my mates which was done manually has 15 credit? is this an error or looking at the other thread it might be an error on mine.
