With bank holiday just around the corner we've teamed with Venere, an Expedia Inc company, to offer EarnAway members £20 cashback on any hotel bookings they make in our 5 day flash sale. All we ask if that your booking is for a minimum of £20 and you only take advantage of the offer once per person.

To get the offer, simply click on the button to visit the Venere.com site, which sets the tracking, then search for your ideal hotel and complete your booking as normal. 

After clicking through via EarnAway, please complete your booking without leaving the Venere site to ensure your cashback tracks. Please read the terms and conditions before proceeding.

Terms and conditions

Offer ends 11.59pm on Friday 12th August

Your booking must be made by 11.59pm on Friday 12th August but your stay can be for any dates

Only one booking per person - subsequent bookings will track but be declined later

User must spend over £20 to get their cashback - bookings under will track but be declined later

If the user cancels their hotel booking, their cashback will also be cancelled

The use of ANY voucher code, even those provided in Venere newsletters will result in your cashback being declined

Please allow up to 24 hours for your booking to track

Your cashback will not be confirmed until 8-12 weeks after your stay has taken place

Not to be used in conjunction with any other EarnAway bonus promotion (e.g. Quidco) - if you’re subject to bonus cashback based on your sign up source, it will track but later be rejected

EarnAway reserve the right to suspend or extend the offer at any time

Voted Hot. Had no probs with earnaway.

Not booked with venere before but just went to and they charge in the hotel's currency and don't accept AMEX. Which is a bit more of a cost for me. Not sure if the not accepting AMEX is a site or hotel thing though.

Just split a 4 day break via my wifes account. 2 nights each and wifes tracked almost immediately.
I'll do mine now.

Maybe depends where you are booking, mine was for the Algarve - paid up front and not on arrival.

Good to know - thanks backinstock. Mine was in France and it's just that I don't have my visa on me at the moment and it said 'one room left' which is why I went for it. Probably be available later and if not there are always others.

It does look it changes from hotel to hotel. Some do look like you pay in local currency, so those may be better booking with say a Nationwide or Halifax Clarity card. I'm not too sure if they'd take the full amount now or upon arrival? Equally, you could be hit with an Amex conversion, although I suppose you could gain if the £ strengthens.

Cheers op, just booked hostel for a few nights in Berlin end of October to see a concert, hope sharing with potentially 6 total strangers is worth the £20 cashback saving, BTW tracked instantly! Paid upfront with visa cc, no additional hidden charges as far as I can see!

I emailed the CEO a.oldham@quidco.com last night with screenshots of my earnaway account info, emails and the Verne booking email confirmation, showing order no, date of hotel stay etc explaining that i hope he could at least move my tracking to confirmed. and then i may consider using earnaway again in the -near future. all i had was an auto email reply. just looked at my account its now been confirmed and i have redeemed via paypal to be payed approx 10 days!

My stay was completed around nine weeks ago, hence the three weeks.
I've started off a claim today via a support ticket and if no joy, I'll go the CEO route.
Doesn't give confidence though if this is what you have to do!
I'm expecting the same copy and paste response you initially had though! If that happens, at least I know what I'm up against! They have their chance to show they are customer focused!

Please be advised that AwayPoints can take up to 12 weeks to be confirmed in your EarnAway account. We make this clear to all member in our FAQ section that the estimated payment date can vary based on a range of factors but typically takes 8 - 12 weeks after your trip.
However, on checking your account I can see that we have already received the payment from Venere and the points have been paid to you. It shouldn't take longer than 24 hours for the AwayPoints to be confirmed in your EarnAway account.

If they have already received the payment, then why on earth has my account not been updated and credited? Surely they don't have to be pestered for payments to be allocated?
